Mumbai Mirror’s blind item for today is about this young actress, who has waited a long time for her films to finally hit the theatres. The wait was worth the while! Now it seems that she has realized that her mentor’s production house isn’t doing much for her. We know that the blind item mentions that it’s all because of a magazine cover, we bet that this actress realised that the mentor gave that cover to his special mentee instead of giving it to this successful and totally deserving actress.
We don’t know for sure, we are just saying because when we are wondering how come this mentor’s special mentee landed this magazine cover when she doesn’t have and didn’t have a release. It’s like people don’t really remember or know her that well, so for her to land the cover of a popular magazine’s cover, it’s quite strange!
The actress also lost a lot of weight over the last few years, so she’s looking fit enough to be on the cover of this magazine. We are just saying and putting two and two together.
Besides that, we don’t know why this actress reminds us of America Ferrera. Yes, the ‘Ugly Betty’s America. Don’t know why, but we think it might be from the way she talks. Anyone else sees it?

It seems she isn’t too happy with the publicity they have been fetching her, and is hoping to figure out her career by herself. We hear the last straw was the studio disallowing a fashion magazine cover shoot that had been organised for her by a third party. If you ask us, though, we’d choose the movies over magazines any day.

@Rashmi Bhumi had another release after ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’: ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’ with Ayushmann, which has actually gone on to become a blockbuster. But, she has totally typecasted herself as the arranged marriage prospect, so a Maxim cover would not suit her at all. Vaani, on the other hand, is tailor-made for the Maxim cover.
Vaani is the only Yrf actress who still has not bagged a movie from another production banner/ house. Her name was tossed around for Shahid’s Batti gul meter chaalu, but Sharadda and Yami got the roles. Maybe that is why Adi gave her the cover and the RK movie. To promote her.
Parineeti, Anushka, Bhumi all bagged good movies outside of YRF unlike Vaani. I don’t think Bhumi will be a huge success if she parts way with YRF. She just does not have the screen presence and she is not an exceptional talent unlike what she believes. Above average actor at best. Also he come across as very full of herself in interviews and there were blinds about how she acts arrogant around people.
Well Admin, every time I see Bhumi on magazine Cover or any other photo shoot I see a CONSTIPATED FACE. Honestly , I am not joking. And if you people think I am being harsh just google yourself and see.

I don’t know how Bhumi was able to reduce around 20kgs in just 6 months approx…. I don’t think one can lose that much of weight with just healthy methods… Her face and body looks more chiseled now… I have a feeling it has got to do with cosmetic procedures…
Anyways,coming to success wrt YRF,Bhumi scores way ahead of Vani… So ideally she should have been given the preference…

I think YRF tries to have firm grip over their actors,, Why would any studio disallow a work for their actors.. Doesn’t the studio gets its share of profits from the actors’ work… Maybe they do that just to show who is the boss…..Bhumi is the golden girl for YRF now….. BTW,I still have doubts regarding Bhumi’s acting skills… I mean she is Okish..nothing outstanding… I haven’t heard her interviews.. So no Idea about her accent….
But I do feel sticking with YRF would be better for her… When Vani fades away due to BO failures,YRF will promote Bhumi with full force….Parineeti is not giving any hits..Anushka will do less movies and will be out of YRF’s grip…RS will also be out of YRF’s hold… Hope YRF doesnt put a blanket ban on its actors after they leave the studio…..

I don’t think that she had a release after toilet but her previous movies were doing well in BO. I totally agree with the above comment. There’s nothing sensetional about her. Average acting skills, so full of herself in interviews. But on contrary one can argue that she has done something and do all the talking unlike people like sonam
