If they are endorsing a particular brand, they should stick by it.
Most of the time, you can see they don’t. Like, they advertise a particular phone brand but use another. Or they are the face of this car brand but drive another. There should something in their contract that prevents them from doing that. You should sell what you believe in, not sell anything just because they are giving you tons of money to do so. The brands should be stricter because they do give these stars a lot of money to promote their products.
If you watch TV these days, Indian television, every kind of star advertises something. From lorries to toilet cleaning substance to insurance, all stars grab whatever come their way. They no longer care, they are all SRK these days. Shah Rukh Khan was the one, who would advertise just about anything as long as you can afford him. They even made fun of his marketing ways when he promoted ‘Ra.One’ because he was just everywhere.

However, a beverage brand he endorses is rather upset with this actor for flaunting the merchandise of a rival brand. The actor was caught sporting a rival brand’s clothing. Since he is also a style icon and makes a statement with his fashion choices, the brand is not happy about it.
The brand in question has expressed their displeasure to the actor’s team. They have informed his team that they may re-think their decision before going ahead with renewing the contract with the actor if he is spotted in public again wearing any merchandise of the rival beverage brand.

This is about Ranbir not Ranveer. Ranbir was photographed on the sets of Brahmastra wearing a coca-cola t-shirt. It was shared by his fan clubs on social media..When I saw the pic I even commented he is gonna get in to trouble with Pepsi for plugging coke merch. If the fcs have not deleted the pics you can find it on his sm fcs.
RK has those typical Punjabi good looks, which almost 90% Punjabi guys possess. I mean if you ever visit Chandigarh or Delhi, you will find guys just like him in terms of looks. Even Diljeet Dosanjh has similar looks and to an extent even Ayushman Khurana. So I guess the only reason RK is so over-hyped is because of the “Kapoor scion” tag. And I guess he’s the last of Raj Kapoor’s lineage. So the hype will obviously be there. And although the guy is a mean marauder with an intensely selfish streak, he presents himself as a very cultured, “emotional” guy with gentlemanly manners and always courteous to women (haha). Plus he has dated two of the most beautiful women in Bollywood, Deepika and Katrina. Since the last 10 years RK has survived purely on the merit of his relationship with these two ladies and tons of flops of course.
Agree, he has a very common punjabi face, there are many who look like him like pulkit samrat , kartik aryan etc, but its only his Kapoor lineage due which he is favored . Better looking guys like Aditya roy Kapoor etc are not even considered even though they are as talented as him, they don’t even get the opportunities to act in big banner character driven roles.
