Aside from the drama that is being described, it’s still funny because this lady definitely has a sense of humour and is not afraid to express this opinion in front of others. Guess it’s not a secret anymore how the old lady behaves and this actress knows it too, hence she’s not afraid to make fun of her in public. Typical and real MIL and DIL drama!
A whiny old lady! See, this is what staying with a cheating husband for the sake of your kids and his public image does to a talented woman like her. We cannot imagine how hard it must have been for her because her solo achievements have been due to her talent. To think that she had to take a step back and watch her husband get all the glory and fame and on top of that, cheat on her. We cannot imagine. It’s why she’s the person that she is today.

A female actor, who is enjoying her comeback to films, seems to be under a lot of stress lately. Sure she’s never been particularly polite to her staff and associates, but this new screeching avatar is becoming a bit tedious to handle. She shows up on the sets and complains about her hair, her makeup, her costumes, her vanity van, her dialogues and basically everything to do with the film. Then she blames the staff for her bad mood, saying, “Guys, you are turning me into my mother-in-law.” Glad to see she still has her sense of humour.

Oh my gosh admin lol I was reading and then wham! you posted a pic of rekha ji at the end looking so coy and adorable lol I nearly fell off my chair laughing again. This drama with jaya and amitabh and rekha will never die down. Jaya is a bitch who lashes out at everyone but she should be lashing out at her husband, it is he who horn her not us. But we feel sorry for her, oh she stayed because of the children boo hoo hoo and you have yourself living in a loveless relationship. By her refusing to let Amitabh go to Rekha she have caused havoc and chaos in her kids life. Her daughter marriage ended, Abhishek is gay, her granddaughter can’t done post half naked pictures all over the internet. That is what happens when children lives in dysfunctional homes, watching their parents sleep in separate rooms and argue constantly. She messed up her kids life. And now gauri is doing the same thing. SRK and gauri marriage is over yet she refuses to leave him. The circle is coming around again. Seriously, the only sane one in that bachchan family is Aish. I pray to God that she changes Abhi and get her daughter away from the MIL.
People who hate on Aishwarya Rai hate on someone who has only ever been professional in their public appearances. She has never sucked up to anyone, or been fake when it comes to friendships or the Khans. When they betrayed her, she stayed away rather than being fake with Salman and Shahrukh. You’re hating on your preconceived perceptions that someone who is known for their looks also can’t be a warm and friendly person. She is not fake, she just protects herself! I think she’s been a great daughter and a great person over all and should be given the benefit of the doubt. She has lasted for a long time in the industry and you don’t have to respect her as an actress, but she also has acted in some really good movies – HDDCS, Devdas, Josh, being some of them. She’s a good mom, that should count for something.

Very honestly, no idea. If Abhi was happy in a relationship, he wouldn’t have been looking so down in the last few years. He’s just not happy. Lately, he has been looking well though.
I think, admin guess is wrong. Abhishek, I didn’t think cheat on anybody and he was never in the limelight the way Aishwarya was. I think the description suits more to Kajol and Ajay.

He is gay and has a long term partner – but Aishwarya married him knowing that fully well, so at least no shocks or cheating there. In fact I’ve heard through the grapevine that AB jr is very faithful to his male partner. It’s a classic old-fashioned bearding arrangement – she gets the family protection and status in the industry; he gets social respectability, and both get a longed-for child. It would have worked well except for the bitter and angry JB problem.
I dont believe he is gay or bi. Didnt he even have an affair with Rani or dipannita? Why would these women be involved with him then? And I doubt Ash would stay put in a dead relationship just for the heck of it. She is Miss World.
Loved the intro. I miss Jaya onscreen, she is amazingly talented and never had to piggy bank on her husband’s popularity but its so unfortunate that she allowed herself to become the angry old woman. She put up with absolute crap and now she is known as the miserable one. So sad!
Admin I love you!! For stating what you stated about Jaya Bachchan.. I guess no article no gossip column no journalist has ever written this in her (Jaya’s) defense…. all just write how rude she is.. but whenever i read anything about Jaya I always believed she has gone through a lot of hell and so she is what she is today. Not entirely her fault.. If we take the privilege of criticizing we should also dutifully appreciate is what I believe. And regarding Aish.. to me she seems well behaved in media.

Abhishek Bachchan might be a decent person in real life but he is a flop and Aishwarya despite her lack of acting talent at least manages to get work. Its high time the Bachchan parivar gets off their high horse and comes to terms with it. And JB showing her frustration of the extraordinary success of her loser husband and abysmal failure of her darling son on her DIL is not going to make things any better. Shweta might be well educated and well spoken but she nothing compared to Aishwarya who made it on her own and is successful in her own right.
Aishwarya does movies more to keep up her endoresements than leaving some kind of legacy . All actors make actual money in endorsements. All this PR stunts are also for the sake of brand endorsements . Everything they do effects their brand . Doing movies is being in limelight and keeping adorsements going .
Is there any truth in the articles about Aishwarya and Shwetha Bachchan not getting along?
Never been a fan of Aishwarya Rai. She comes across as a highly narcissistic and insecure person. We never see her in public without makeup piled like a clown on her face. She is a way below average actress who uses her PR to stay in the limelight. It puzzles me that she has never ever complimented any actresses (peers or junior) on their performances or looks.
As for JB she is a gifted actress and having recently finished reading the unauthorised Rekha biography the AB-rekha affair really affected her. Seems like rekha and JB were both mad,y in love with AB and he made a fool of both.
Yeah, Aishwarya has never complimented anyone as per my knowledge.. She indeed looks beautiful but plastic.. She comes across to me as arrogant but she is generally well behaved in media and in person life.. Her PR is also more tamed than others..
Agree beautiful but plastic. I read an article years ago ( a British Asian magazine)where the journalist articulated how rude Aishwarya was to her and the other women around her and how Aishwarya was bad mouthing the magazine calling it not important. Yes her PR doesn’t attack others but is very active on Pvilla in dolling out articles on her.
Not aware of that incident with the press.. Maybe I am wrong in assessment. But if you see her interaction here in India, very rarely she loses temper.. She doesn’t have too many flings in personal life and is a hands-on mom.. She doesn’t give away those statements in the media, the way Jaya does…

Sure. It’s called Rekha: the untold story by Yasser Usman. He wrote in an easy to digest ,entertaining style. It was a great read and made me sympathetic towards Rekha as she has undergone a lot throughout her life. Also explains her odd behaviour.
Apart from good looks and good dancing skills, I don’t see acting skill in Aishwarya. JAZBAA being one of her worst performance..
Aishwarya should take some serious decisions in per personal life now. No point in staying with a cheating husband and MIL like Jaya and a molester like ABC Sr. She should start reinventing herself.. Lately I am finding Ash very boring…
