Apple has unveiled its latest upgraded iPad version and this one will blow your brains out. After years of presenting its products by Steve Jobs, Apple CEO Tim Cook took over to launch the new iPad. Named only iPad, Tim Cook says, “iPad was the poster child for the post-PC world.”
In less than four years, this is the third version of the Apple iPad that has been launched. This one has a display of 2047 x 1536 pixels. The display has been named “resolutionary” due to its of its high-definition, photo- and video-friendly display. It features a voice transcription feature that enables users to dictate emails and the text of documents.
What is new in the upgraded Apple iPad is a couple of new features. There’s a better and more sophisticated photo and video editing. Games are much better by featuring powerful graphics. It includes a 5-megapixel camera and works on 4G wireless networks.
Speaking at the launch, Tim Cook had the guts to take shots at Samsung’s tablets running on Google Inc.-powered Android software. “It kind of looks like a blown-up smartphone app,” Cook said, “because that’s exactly what it is.” Let’s wait for Samsung’s response on this matter!
Obviously Apple also took the time to show off its earnings, you know to compare with how other companies are doing.
Pick up the new iPad and suddenly, it’s clear. You’re actually touching your photos, reading a book, playing the piano. Nothing comes between you and what you love. To make that hands-on experience even better, we made the fundamental elements of iPad better — the display, the camera, the wireless connection. All of which makes the new, third-generation iPad capable of so much more than you ever imagined.
The Apple iPad will be available in the market from March 16. Unfortunately though, the prices will be just as the iPad 2. No discounts, here!
