    The Zoom H1 is a handy digital recorder that supports simultaneous recording in stereo mode and simultaneous playback. The unit also supports file editing functions such as Time Stamp check, Rename, Delete, Size check, Divide and Normalize. With 24 bit Audio digital conversion with 128 times over-sampling, the Zoom H1 also features functions such as MP3 post-encode, A-B repeat, Lo-cut filter, AGC/compressor/limiter, Marker, Chromatic, Guitar and Bass tuner, a metronome with 5 sound variation, 32bit signal processing, SD memory card (16MB-2GB)/SDHC memory card(4GB-32GB) card support, and WAV/MP3 file format. The Zoom H1 supports a 1/8″ stereo phone jack output with a load impedance of 10kΩ or more, and Mini-B type (USB2.0 Full-Speed compatible) USB connector. The Zoom H1 provides users with up to 4.5 hours playback time. It comes with a SD memory card (512MB), Desktop stand, Microphone clip adaptor, Wind screen, Earbuds, USB cable, Stereo Y cable, AC adaptor (AD-0006). 

     

    Zoom H1 Recorder Features

    The H1 is a digital recorder that is compatible for use in seminars and conferences, electronic news gathering (ENG), interviews and podcasting, musical performances, songwriting sessions and rehearsals. It has 4 dual X/Y configured stereo microphones which face the front and rear and is ideal for capturing a wide and contiguous stereo image. Users can utilize both two pairs to produce a four-channel recording with 360° coverage and allows them to adjust front, rear, left and right balance with the built-in 3D panning function. The unit also has an authoring software that lets users create 5.1 surround recordings. It features 24bit/96kHz linear PCM and MP3 recording and records on Secure Digital (SD) media (a 512MB SD card is included). Other features on the H1 include supports BWF (Broadcast Wave Format)used by broadcasting studios and for other professional applications; lets users set timestamp information and markers (cue points) during recording; Auto Gain Control (AGC)function and Low-Cut Filter that eliminates unwanted low frequency noise.
