As you know, Ranbir Kapoor was signed on to play Sanjay Dutt in his biopic aptly titled ‘Dutt’. The film seems to be a huge thing since it’s directed by Rajkumar Hirani. We don’t know whether Ranbir was forced to sign the film or he felt compelled to accept it, he seems to not be happy about being in it. Some weeks back, Sanjay Dutt got drunk at a party and caught Ranbir off guard when he said that Ranbir wasn’t macho enough to play him onscreen. We thought he was the one, who wanted Ranbir to play him. That said, if he didn’t want Ranbir then maybe it was Rajkumar’s way of making it up to RK since he gave ‘PK’ away to Aamir. You probably know that ‘PK’ was meant to be a Ranbir Kapoor film, but Aamir heard the script and pestered Rajkumar to choose him to be in it, instead. At an event last week, Ranbir had a couple of things to say about ‘Dutt’, which again made us think that perhaps he doesn’t want to be in this film at all. If that is the case, then he should just come clear with the director and producers of the film and get it over with. Here’s Ranbir in his own words about ‘Dutt’.

Ranbir Kapoor about starting to shoot for ‘Dutt’
I am starting the shoot next month. It is a very difficult film. To represent Sanjay Dutt and work with (director) Rajkumar Hirani, I don’t even think I deserve this film. But, I am looking forward to working on it.
