If you are a superstar and you want your film to make a lot of money on its opening day, then you have to ensure that you get a solo release. There are only 2 superstars, who have managed to get solo releases and they are Aamir Khan and Salman Khan. Aamir was first because no other producers wanted to release their films on the same day that an Aamir Khan film releases.
Christmas is always book for an Aamir Khan film, when he is working on one. As for Salman, producers know the impact his films have at the box office. Though Salman has only proved his worth at the box office recently, Aamir has been steady. The one superstar, who’s always struggling to stay afloat is Shah Rukh Khan.
We don’t know whether it’s his ego or something else, he’s the only one of the Khans, who has had to clash with other big releases. As a result, the money his films made is not much compared to Aamir and Salman. We are talking about the opening figure, which says a lot about an actor’s stardom in Bollywood. The worst clashes came when SRK opened his mouth about how confident he is about his films. But, SRK’s arrogance played a huge part again when he asked Deepika to tweet that she’s scared for her film to come out against a big superstar’s film.
