This is probably the first time this actor’s hair issues have been address and that too in a blind item. For years, he has been wearing a toupee on his head to hide the bald spot, but now since he has been walking around without any hair extensions or toupee, the media feels free to address his bald situation.
He has said that he shaved it off due to an upcoming film role where he has to wear a turban. The thing is, he said that after shaving his head. Before that, he was walking around with his original hair and he shaved it off and gave that statement.

Hair fall is an usual thing for commoners. It is also quite distressing, depressing and disappointing. For many, it’s the end of world. Hair is such an important part of our look that there is even an adage which explains the mood of the day. Remember the saying, a bad hair day? Yes, it’s that significant for human existence. But turns out our Bolly-folks too lose a little sleep over it. Our khabri informed us that an A-list actor is really concerned about his receeding hairline. If you ask us, it suits him rather well. We wouldn’t care if he continues with it. He can easily use a wig for the many characters he plays on screen. But the actor doesn’t believe so. In a bid to get his hair back, he has sought the help of the same hair weaving centre that helped yet another A-lister regrow his crop.
Now these two actors are not good friends. So it will be wrong to assume that one referred the other to this hair clinic. But the A-lister has clearly seen what it did for this other superstar. The latter too had a similar problem many years ago and got the weaving thing done. He too hadn’t shied away from flaunting his bald head. In fact, he took pride in it. The A-lister, who is presently seeking professional help regarding it from the same salon, thus has a good example in front of him.

When I first started reading the blind my thought was Amitabh, there was so much talk about him and his ‘hair’. I think hair loss is a natural cycle of life, my hubby loses his hair too but he cuts it low down and it dont look all that bad, guess that because his hair is just thinning out throughout and not the baldy patch like Akshay. Btw on the topic of Akshay, I read in another site that Padmavat was banned by a few states and the logical reason have to do with Akshay, the states are trying to give his movie a chance? How true is this admin?
Whether they are doing it for Akshay or not, it does benefit him…. This has become an ego issue for the karni Senate and hence they may not backdown

Me too. Amitabh has been bald for decades now he wears a wig. When he was admitted to hospital we all saw his bald head in pics. I think its weird how he had a head of black hair and white beard in kbc lol.
