So, ‘Race 3’s trailer came out yesterday. It looks like a mash-up of a bunch of Salman Khan’s films. This is to be expected after having worked in a gazillion films. The trailer was hilariously bad, but the one scene that stayed with us is this one:
How many of you did the same thing? Our old lady used to tell us, “You are supposed to ride the bike not walk the bike”. By the way, we are talking about a bicycle here. Bicycle is for children and we call adult bicycle as bike! Remember when you were making the transition from four wheels to two? How scary and new it was? How many of you have heard from older people that you need to fall off the bike once and then only you will know how to ride it.
Speaking of actual bikes, motor bikes, we do not know and have no intention of riding one. We believe motor bikes are the easiest way for you to meet God. This should have been their tagline: Dying to meet God? Just ride one of our bikes and you will get there. Jokes aside, bikes are really dangerous and too many innocent people have lost their lives over it. Last year on a rainy day, a girl slipped on the road right in front of us. She was on her bike and was about to turn. The road was slippery and while trying to make the turn she slipped. We had to break in time. Just imagine the horror of what could have happened!
Anyways, this is not a commentary of ‘Race 3’s trailer. We value our brain cells too much to do a commentary on one, but man what the hell was Salman Khan thinking doing this scene:
It’s like in his films, he has to provide the nekkid factor! Who is going to enjoy Salman Khan and Bobby Deol shirtless? Thank Goodness that Salman didn’t take Dharmendra in it otherwise Hema Malini would be the only one watching this film!
Lastly, can’t help but notice that this particular looks like Sallu is showing us that he truly is the Ultimate Godfather of Bollywood. He no care if you male or female, he going to godfather you the way he knows best: make you his side deals in films! Somewhere Katrina Kaif is sitting and wondering why her Bhai dearest couldn’t make a role for her sister in this film. We were going to say for her, but she was already in the first one .
If you notice in this film, they have run out of ideas to make action scenes. All these scenes have a deja-vu sense attached to it. Maybe it’s also because Salman has just done an action film so he got lazy and asked them to just copy and paste from that film. This movie also seems to not be an actual sequel of the film since Anil Kapoor’s role is different. He is playing the father of Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem instead of the usual police inspector role that he played in the earlier two films from this franchise.
And the ending of that trailer, this screams: Get ready for what happens after you have had too much briyani!
Tacky is the one word review for this trailer. But thank God for million sallu fans who’ll make even a video of him sleeping a 200 crore blockbuster
I remember Cyrus Broacha used to make fun of the way South Indian actor NTR used to dance and enact action/fight scenes in his later movies.

Basically its what happens if you are already a bad dancer, then you get really old and your joints get stiff. Salman is the North Indian NTR of the new millennium. Crazy old to be doing this but crazy number of fans who will still watch.
PS. Admin, you or someone else on that S forum, can you do a mash up of both NTR and Salman dances? It would be totally fun!
arre common now..Sr.NTR was from a completely diffrnt time and he just dint enjoy immense popularity but also enjoyed the demi god status so much that after all these years after his death even today ppl vote for a political party keeping him in their mind..
lets not compare a legend who did some questionable acting and dance moves(back then over acting was smthng a lot of actors did) to a criminal like salman khan with pathetic acting skills in todays time..
we could try NTR’s son balakrishna versus salman khan acting FTW though..that myt be fun..although its tough to say who ll win tht..my bets on balakrishna lol :p

To me, a good actor should know when to hang up his shoes.
Romancing women young enough to be your kids/grandkids is creepy – doesn’t matter whether it happened/happens yesterday, today, or tomorrow.
I still stand by the three things I compared NTR and Salman against – trying to dance and do action scenes that they can no longer do, mostly because of age and stiff joints.
Romancing much, much younger actresses on screen.
Having a core, fanatical following that let both get away with it.
That people are fanatical enough to vote for a political party today, because they were such fans of a long dead celluloid character – that just underlines my last argument.
Personally, to me that you would vote on the basis on being someone’s fan – that’s delusional.
PS. NTR was really admirable in his earlier acting stage – especially his ability to deliver near Shakespearean drama, but he’s not beyond reproach. Neither is Sridevi, Amitabh, Raj Kapoor and any other ‘legend’.
ofcourse legends r not beyond reproach..i clearly agreed dance moves and acting skills (includes action scenes too)were quite questionable (for reasons more than one)..
coming to actors romancing young actresses is obvsly a sad state of affair and by that 1 logic lets make a mashup of sorts with ‘amitabh bachchan,NTR,ANR, krishna,chiranjeevi,nagarjuna,rajnikanth,balakrishna,SRK,salman,Aamir,anil kapoor,sanjay dutt..oh wait the list is endless..a lot of ppl doing the wrong thing clearly doesnt make it right..but why only NTR against Salman khan..i honestly think NTR has a legacy comparable to that of Amitabh bachchan and to compare him with salman khan is kinda sad..
also a lot of stars enjoy fan base that lets them get away with romancing very very young actresses , not just these two..when i was talkng abt his fan base its not just the kind of stardom that sm thing every other star enjoys but on a completely diffrnt level..
i dunno how voting for someone ur a fan of makes that person or smone else delusional..there r quite a few categories in delusions and this one doesnt fall in any of them not even grandiosity or erotomania..

also im sorry u had to explain urself..it ws just a light hearted comment on my part that why compare a legend to an asshole..sure we can make fun of great ppl but u dont want to compare lata mangeshkar or Sachin tendulkar to something shitty based on some similarity..ppl find tht offensive..likewise i feel a comparision btw NTR and amitabh myt be fun instd of NTR and a criminal..also the telugu audience has seen a lot of imitations,mimicry,jokes etc on NTR’s mannerisms/dance/dressing/acting/action scenes etc in the past and found it funny, just not comparing him on some xyz similarity with a douchebag..similarities that a lot of 50+ stars have these days..

clearly one of the worst trailers ive seen lately..it looks like the editor thot lets give every actor one punchline each..thr r no normal dialogues, just punchlines..
and the worst scene for me was the close up of salman khan telling jackie dont worry im not askng ur hand for marriage dialogue..major cringe moment tht ws for me..he just dint act..ok forget acting, he dint even try..
i wont be surprised if this turns out to be a hit like prem ratan dhan payo or judwaa remake did..
I hardly watch lallu film last time I saw was sultan,bb seeing trailer I can say its going to ruin race franchise poor saif n abbas-mastan its get same reaction like Jacky’s itemsongs 123 BTW I enjoying all meme since morning i m just laughing its made my day I have same stress from last 3days now its over😂😂😂😂

This is not race. This is salman and his fav gang doing a movie. Surprised to say i am even missing ameesha patel.
The first part of Race was pretty good. A plot full of suspence and action, great songs, good looking actresses with screen presence and good acting by Saif and Akshay Khanna. The Race 2 plot was weak but the action, songs, good looking cast with great screen presence and overall vibe of the movie was great. I was looking forward to watching Race 3 (eventhough I rarely watch Salman movies) but not gonna watch this crapfest.
The most epic reaction for this trailer on social media is from Huma. She wrote killer as her reaction. Lol.. The irony of calling something Salman is in killer was not lost on twitteratis..
Sallu atleast has his millions of fans but who wants to see Bobby Deol shirtless? I was also wondering the same.
I enjoyed watching Race. It had great music and the cast was also pretty good.
This wont do as well as Tiger. Tiger movie looked slick, this looks like a B grade movie with Sallu in it.
Salman looks bloated and uninterested… Daisy has no charm. Jacky looks sexy… Bobby and Saqib look like mere props with not much to do…
After watching the trailer, I am seriously missing Saif and abbas-mustan… Both were the soul of Race… With the lead protagonist changed from Saif to Salman, this movie altogether has lost charm..
I don’t understand why the need to keep the title as Race 3,when this movie is no continuation from the previous one…. Bollywood people need to check the dictionary before calling it as a sequel… It is not a sequel at all…. Race series always had Saif as the lead protagonist and Anil kapoor as the cop who joins hands with Saif at the end… Only saif’s enemies get eliminated… What about anil kapoor’s dumb subordinate? There seems to be no one for him in this film……
The action scenes look dumb with no intelligence whatsoever… They are worst than dhoom 3 action sequences… In dhoom 3,the bike were lifted in the air for good 2-3 min before they were brought down on the road….. I need to check the action director now……
Remo is suitable for dance based movies only… He better keep doing that instead of directing an action thriller which is not his genre… He can be best friends with Kat and her sis, so that they can keep dancing in all his dance based movies turn by turn, since it requires less acting…
