It is not surprising that studios didn’t think this film would be such a big hit. It’s more of a surprising hit than a really big hit. It really took everyone by surprise, including the film’s cast and crew. Based on the blind item by Supercinema, the producer of this film wanted a studio to release this film as well as promote it. The studio refused because once they saw the film, they didn’t think that this was a winner. The producer was left on his own and had to deal with the film’s release and promotions all by himself without involving any studios. Now that the film is a hit, he gets to keep all the money!
The film being a hit has also turn around the career of this young actress. Everyone is surprised because they didn’t expect her to bounce back like this. And now, she is already on the way working in a biopic so all eyes will be on her. This brings back the blind items about how her family priest said that her last relationship is the cause of all the bad luck in her career. Well, she got rid of the older boyfriend and things seem to look up. Quite something! That priest will get a raise!

He decided to not sell his super hit movie to studios and now is raking in all the mullah. But there is this corporate company who he must surely thank for this great gamble of his which has paid off brilliantly. The producer showed his movie to this corporate company and wanted them to up their bid to take over and release the film. But the corporate company actually refused to up their bid once they saw the movie as they didn’t get the right vibe from the film which is shocking enough considering the entire nation has loved the movie immensely. We wonder what kind of checklist could the company be following in the first place.

@rashmi Shraddha is doing her own thing. is extremely unproblematical as far as public image goes unlike alia, shardha is not using kjo for movies so her choices will be hit or miss. same cant be said about alia her 90% films are by kjo her public personal life curated by kjo. Alia is talented so about time she tries to survive on her own merit no.
what alia needs to worry about is the new star kids being inducted in her lobbing gurdian angel director production house e.g sara,jhanv, suhana to name a few . kjo has eventually cast in a multi starer, sara has four movies already,jhanvi too is getting kjo movies so alia no longer will have the first pics.ryte now she is worring about correcting her bff dating her friends ex image by cozy in up to dp.
Alia needs to watch out for long queue of star kids coming her way. After her marriage wth ranbir she wont be able to use her link ups for pr.

Stree was really a good watch.. A fresh story.. The support cast were great..
Well, the trailer of the film was good and so is the movie, highly entertaining. Finally, after a long time we had a good comedy film with elements of horror. The comedy is not slapstick, but situational thanks to Pankaj Tripathi, Rajkumar Rao and Aparshakti Khurana.
I believe in astrology it has always been correct forecasts for me.. I dont blame Shraddha at all.
Good for the filmmakers of stree they deserve to keep the profits totally enjoyed it. its the best movie for me so far this year and entire cast was great including shardha. I feel like rooting for people who dont suffer from personal life based PR like kjo and minions and let their work talk.
with shardha luck turning around aduna happy in her life she is having the last laugh
