Yesterday, the trailer of Mr. Majnu was launched. As you can guess, if you speak Hindi, it’s like saying Mr. Romeo. It stars the son of Nagarjuna, Akhil. Nagarjuna has two sons, Akhil and Naga Chaitanya. We don’t know much about them, except they both don’t look like their handsome father (which is obvious) and they are both still struggling actors. They also cannot yet match their father’s acting talent. Actually, now we remember, we did see a film where all three of them were in it called ‘Manam’, which also starred Nagarjuna’s father and Akhil made an appearance at the end of the film. His introduction scene was quite something, you would think Rajnikanth or Kamal Haasan was making an appearance. It was a nice film, but way too long.
So back to Hardik Pandya’s biopic. The trailer of Akhil’s film was released yesterday:

Who would have thought? Koffee with Karan has the power to make a person famous and hated at the same time! The effect this episode has is similar to when Deepika and Sonam came on the show and Ranbir’s reputation went for a toss. Actually, in that case, things went south because Rishi blasted both ladies for their comments on his son so it kind of gained weight. Otherwise, no one would have cared that much. People knew how he was.
For Hardik, his own loud mouth made things worst for him and the other guy. Hardik did not only get blasted by the cricket committee, he also lost endorsements. There goes his budget for hair styles!
Seriously, though? His parents are so outspoken and not once did they ask him: What the hell is that on your head? Or perhaps, be careful PETA can get you for this! Or, Wearing bird feather is illegal?!
Speaking of Hardik’s biopic, we forgot the other day to mention in Dhruv Vikram’s acting debut post how Vikram’s son is the only star son that looks like his dad. At least, from all the star sons we know of. There are Nagarjuna’s sons, who look nothing like him. Mammootty’s son, Dulquer, who again doesn’t look like him and Ram Charan, who doesn’t resemble Chiranjeevi at all. In one way, it does make it hard to be compared to their dads, which works for them.
did anyone watch KWK with Shweta and Abhishek, she doesnt like Aishwarya at all .. lol i thought these media people were trying to cook up story.. but man .. she ust hates her retty strongly

Although i found most of her opinion rational, the expression and body language she showed whenever aish topics came up was just Wow!
I saw it… and it was a bit annoying as Abhishek was giving answers that gave respect to his wife…and Shewta was pretty much laughing at his face and implying that he’s lying. Even if there is a problem, try to be supportive of your brother who’s just trying to be decent about it!
Good for Abhishek….I literally LOL’d when he gave it back to her and asked her to do something in her life. Payback is sweet!
I am not sure about facts, but i sense that Abhi and Aish have genuine fondness for each other.
Of course there are rumours about him being gay and her having an affair, but they still seem to respect each other. Shweta was acting so petty when she accused him of being brutal with his mom and being so nice to Aish.. that was really something, i felt even Kjo was stumped for a bit.
Why dint Kjo ask her about her hubby and marriage? Perks of being Kjos friend. Also, the fact that she said she will make his life hell and he would need to find a place too as well as a ride back home, shows how much power she tries to wield in their lives. I dont blame Aish for disliking her.
Glad Abhi chose to support Aish over this woman!

An interesting topic. But Shweta would not have done anything other than choosing to become an actor if she was encouraged to be a career woman. She would be pulling the same strings that she does now.
These ultra rich people are rarely driven unless they are groomed to take over some Company and all. Their parents knew it , so got them married off to a Big shot family. In a way its good , these ppl cannot work in an office aneways but also it gives other driven not so rich a chance to thrive and do something.
Ofcourse, I hope she was taught or learnt some empathy or some respect for self made people and people of less means . But Alas , looks like Jaya – Big B failed there. she was married off at 20 and popped 2 kids in 4 years , gave them a male heir too and done with her responsibility.
She is so vapid…i read her blog on how she is a vegetarian except for occasional caviar and slice of Viande Sêche ( a dry cured Swiss meat…extremely expensive)….yep ! Also, she mentioned the joys of not having to tell the cook what to make for dinner when she is in Mumbai.
Aneways, i hope these star kids atleast some of them are groomed and get an education to run their production house (which most of them have). They spend so much money on launching their kids, grooming them , PR activities. I hope SRK learnd something and push Aryan in Adi Chopra way rather than uday Chopra.
These kids are extremely not in touch with anything real-normal to emote for screen.I hope they are atleast groomed to keep their Production houses and wealthy together and in tact…Abhishek did nothing for ABCL corp.
Why was Shwetha Bacchan Nanda (still?) on the show? What are her achievements? KwK which I now watch for sociological analysis lol has turned into Nepo Central unashamedly. The Ali Khans, the Anil Kapoors, the Boney Kapoors, the Neelima Azims, the Bacchans, and some more coming up. GK is name your cousins, when did your dad and mom get married? The standard questions. Who is the better actress? Alia. Who is the better actor? Ranbir. I suspect a minion visits the guests in their dressing rooms and whispers, Sir’s got this big movie coming up starring Ranbir and Alia. He’ll ask 2 questions and the answer ahould be Alia and Ranbir, never Deepika and Ranveer, get it? The best answer was Abhishek’s. He refused to say Alia. He said it depended on the role and the movie. He lost the hamper.

It’s like the time Pinky Reddy, the socialite was profiled in an interview – her Dad, Subbirami Reddy (the movie folk crazy Congress politician) was heading the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam temples at the time. She was all about how they were such a god fearing, ritual following, chaste Hindus. In the same interview, when asked about her favorite foods, she says she loves beef steak when she goes to New York.

Of course. Aishwarya is self made and stunning. Jealousy in evitable. Plus she has managed to have a decent married life. Shweta doesn’t have anything to show on all fronts plus KJO as a bff is going to rub off on her personality.
To a certain extent I blame this on the typical Delhi-Mumbai elite culture the Kapoors and Bachchans subscribe to. Education for women is merely piece of paper to add to their pedigree, like being sent to a new age Grooming School. Work experience is not valued.
Lots of such families boast that their daughters don’t need to work because they are rich enough to afford their lifestyle. They are even encouraged to marry young if they find the right rich guy. Which is a complete disservice to the daughters, and de-incentivizes the value of a useful education and career. At a very young age, no one realizes the repercussions of this attitude. Hypocritically they will never say such a thing to their sons.
As a result, women in these families are barely career minded, or professionally equipped. All that money and access is wasted on trivial pursuits, and ensuring they pop out a kid or two for lineage purposes.
But the effects of these shows up much later in life, when they have nothing to show for themselves (Shweta, Gauri, etc) This is what happened to Shweta B. Random degree in English, married young, no career, and now writes horrible columns and designs horrible clothes, courtesy her Dad’s money and contacts. And is jealous of a woman who has worked hard at her own career. Truly sad.
PS. If you come from a family that encouraged/encourages you to get an education and a career before getting married, consider yourself lucky. Male or Female.

So what is with all libetard reviewers tearing down URI in thier reviews? Go read the comments on Anupama Chopra and her minions review videos the dislikes are exceeding the likes. People have started unsubscribing her channel. She gave the shitty movie Befikre a 3.5 and URI 2.5. Hadh hai! URI is racing past 100 crores in its first week. It’s a no Khan movie.
Anupama Chopra is a critic, and her job is to evaluate films and critique them for their art and craft of film-making. A very appealing, patriotic, real life story can still be weak as a film because of various reasons. Saying this doesn’t make someone a “libtard”. Racing past 100 crores isn’t necessarily the sign of a good film. Crappy, senseless films can also earn that much, and excellent films can sink at the box office. That’s how fickle the audience is. One can disagree with Chopra’s reviews, and she does go wrong sometimes, but disagreements and debates can be had civilly.
Hardik is an ass and deserves to be thrashed by the media and general public for what he said on Karan’s show.
That being said, I hope this isn’t the end of his career and he gets a chance to learn from this and redeem himself. Involving the supreme court is going too far, he’s already been tried by the people who’ve seen his clips on the show.
