THE team of a web-streaming platform that has earned a reputation for churning out soft-core shows just got an earful from their big boss recently. While reviewing the rushes of the forthcoming season of one of their super-hit shows, the head of the company – who is usually quite happy to let provocative content slide as long as it garners clicks – was aghast.

The team was shocked when the feedback they received included addition of a few ‘normal scenes’ to take the edge off excessively steamy content. After all, even the best porn films must lean on some narrative.
