Three years ago when this film was announced, Salman Khan was said to be the producer of the film. In fact, he was the one who didn’t like the rushes of the film and decided to have it shelved to save face. It was really shelved since Sooraj moved on to another film and Isabelle had another movie to debut in. But now that the official poster, teaser and trailer have been released, Salman’s name doesn’t feature anywhere.
It could be that he sold the film or that is his UK-based company, just like he had a hand in Dr. Cabbie. Also, this film stars all of his proteges, from Sooraj to Isabelle (Katrina Kaif’s sister) to Waluscha (who he tried to cast in SLB’s film).
‘Time To Dance’ is produced by Remo’s wife, Lillette. If you remember, Remo and Salman were tight until ‘Race 3’ happened and flopped big time. Salman blamed it on Remo and their friendship ended up having the same fate as Kabir Khan and Bhai’s friendship; it’s only as good as their film’s box office result!
The trailer of ‘Time To Dance’ has just been released. It’s a story about ballroom dancing and they are promoting as the first Bollywood film to be based on ballroom dancing.
It seems as if Isabelle’s voice is dubbed in the film because it doesn’t sound like her voice at all. Also, it would be unfair to think that she can fully speak Hindi without any accent. When she was signed for the film, she said it was going to be based in London so speaking Hindi won’t be an issue as she is supposed to be an English girl in the film. But it seems, things have changed and she is speaking Hindi in the film, it’s dubbed by someone else with her mouthing the dialogues. By the way, Isabelle enrolled in the same acting institute in New York where RK went. Nowadays, everyone is going there just to get some credibility.

It’s my first full-fledged dance film. Both my co-star Isabelle Kaif and I had so fun doing the dancing. It’s all done in the Latin style. So all the dancing is collaborative. I must say Isabelle is a fabulous dancer. As for me. I think I dance well too. I’ve always been good at hip-hop. The Latin dancing was new to me. We spent a lot of time rehearsing our dance steps. She is an absolutely hassle-free co-star, great fun to be with. I enjoyed the experience shooting the film with her. I hope it is a success for her sake as well as for mine. – Sooraj Pancholi
