Ranbir’s cousin on Filmfare Magazine

    01

Aadar Jain is seen here with his co-star from ‘Hello Charlie’ on the cover of Filmfare magazine. Actually, his real co-star from that film is a gorilla but due to Covid, the gorilla couldn’t fly down from the states to take part in this photoshoot!

Aadar and Shlokka were promoting their film ‘Hello Charlie’, released on Amazon Prime. Since it’s Covid and all that, they couldn’t really go out of their way to promote the film. They just did a couple of interviews on Zoom with different online networks.

Then, there is the Filmfare magazine cover which is very surprising, considering the kind of film ‘Hello Charlie’ is. You know how there was a strong rumor back then when Ranveer Singh made his debut that his father paid YRF to launch his son? The reason being, his dad is a businessman and people just put two and two together.

With the Jain bros, Aadar and Armaan, if we apply the same rumor…It doesn’t sound too far-fetched! Why and how else would the number one entertainment magazine put AJ on the cover to promote a silly film like ‘Hello Charlie’?

Both Aadar and Armaan are keen to make it as actors and their connection that makes them eligible, by Bollywood standards, is their grandfather Raj Kapoor. Without a doubt, their inspiration is Ranbir Kapoor since both Aadar and Armaan mimic or copy RK heavily in their films.

Armaan made his debut in 2014 in ‘Lekar Hum Deewana Dil’. The film flopped and Armaan didn’t rush to get back on the big screen after that. He tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in early 2020. Last heard, he was summoned by ED in February 2021.

Aadar, on the other hand, made his debut in 2017 in ‘Qaidi Band’. ‘Hello Charlie’ was supposed to be his relaunch vehicle by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment…Some kind of relaunch it was!

What’s funny is, his first film ‘Qaidi Band’ had an almost similar storyline and setting to Farhan’s ‘Lucknow Central’, also released in 2017.

Fun fact: Aadar made his debut on TV, as a teenager, on Farhan Akhtar’s talk show called ‘Oye It’s Friday’ in an episode that featured Priyanka Chopra as the guest. He showed off his drumming skills and left both Farhan and PC impressed.

It’s strange how Excel Entertainment decided to relaunch Aadar…But then after seeing the kind of film ‘Hello Charlie’ was, we can’t help but wonder WHY would anyone choose to get relaunched in a ridiculous film like that? Most importantly, what made Farhan and Ritesh produce this film? Was it the money?

Was Aadar not getting any offers at all?

Aadar has, lately, been in the news for his relationship with Tara Sutaria. It seems they wanted to generate the public’s interest in him before his comeback but still, who really cared? He did use their relationship to further promote the film.

Did people go and watch it after knowing the above information?

It’s funny nowadays young actors are so public about their relationship, even if it’s PR-generated (most are), compared to the old days when everyone was just “good friends” or brother-sister.

Anyway, to those who have seen the film…Is Aadar here to stay (in Bollywood)?

As of now, neither Aadar nor Armaan have their own style or mannerism yet. They seem heavily inspired by Ranbir Kapoor and who knows, RK might be the reason why they decided to venture into acting. Who wouldn’t want that level of fame and status?

Before actors used to get inspired by SRK…They would imitate him, mimic his style in romantic scenes and all that. Now it seems RK is the one being used as an inspiration and it’s starting from his own home! He did, after all, made acting school the go-to place for star kids, even Aadar 👇!
