Can’t believe 5 years have already passed since this film, originally titled ‘Dragon’ was announced!
When Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukherjee started shooting the film in Israel, Ranbir had just broken up with Katrina Kaif and she sought the help of Ranbir’s co-star Alia Bhatt to keep an eye on him!
Yes, that’s what was said back then.
Then the rumours started that Alia’s bestie was dating Ranbir! Not long after that, word started going around that Ranbir and Alia were together.
Contrary to how real couples behave in Bollywood, Ranbir and Alia proceeded to make public appearances together. At that time, many people in the media and Bollywood fans didn’t believe in their relationship, so the reel couple upped their appearances and candid pics. Imagine having to convince the public that you REALLY are an item? That’s some marketing ploy, huh!
To be fair, who can believe these link-ups considering KJo was the matchmaker of his minions. He himself said he likes to matchmake the actors, irrespective of whether he worked with them or not.
And then who can forget the numerous rumours about Mouni Roy and Ayan? Nah, those weren’t rumours…those were just Raymond playing a sick joke on Mouni!
So back to ‘Brahmastra’…
Now that the film is done shooting, Ayan and the gang will get busy in post-production. The reason why this shooting took so long is, hard to say, really. It could be they shot the portions that required VFX works earlier to give the special effects team time to work on these scenes. It also explains why they have been showing the VFX of the film as the first look of the film and the first look of the characters.
Ranbir and Alia both worked on different films since they started shooting for ‘Brahmastra’ but Ayan, in his own words, mentioned how he kept on working on the film for 5 years of this life.
So, for him, specially, the completion of the shooting must mean a lot.
‘Brahmastra – Part One’ will be released on September 09, 2022.
So the wedding is on? Will make RK look like a royal as he stated recently Alia and Him will not be getting married this year
