It’s quite something, isn’t it?
For 3 Bollywood actresses to be on the cover of Vogue on the occasion of a film they have SIGNED and NOT YET shoot for!
Quite something!
It used to be newcomers who would appear on magazine covers unveiling their faces for the first time like Ranbir and Sonam did with SLB but even that was to promote their debut film which was ready for release.
So yes, only the big guns could have pulled this one off!
And by that, they might just be Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor who are co-producing this film together.
What is the strangest thing is, we have read the interview and there’s no mention of what’s this upcoming film’s story.
It is called ‘The Crew’ and it is a comedy-drama. The film will be about three working women in the airline industry.
Now, now…
We have seen two shows along the same lines, ‘The Flight Attendant’ and ”Pan Am’.
Let’s wait next year and see what is this film about.
In the meantime, check out these official pictures of the Vogue magazine and some interesting quotes from these ladies.
Bebola, Tabu and Kriti all look stunning but Kriti takes the cake away in this shoot!
Pretty sure, this photoshoot wouldn’t have happened years ago! What?! Two senior actresses and the new girl in town, even though she isn’t. Some of these veteran actresses don’t even get along with the young ones. Seriously! That’s how competitive they are or were.
I’m not dancing to the tunes of a capricious hero. My heroines are calling the shots and I’m happy to let them. – Rhea Kapoor
I feel like we always get to work with the men we want to, but never with the women we look up to. It’s so rare to be cast alongside women you admire in an industry where male-dominated films rule the box office. I think that’s also one of the reasons why I don’t have too many female actors who are friends. – Kriti Sanon
Kareena, I’ve worked with your sister in so many movies. I remember Babita used to call us “the hit pair of cinema” so you feel familiar to me by extension. Kriti is so beautiful and hard-working, and I’m sure it’s going to be fun. – Tabu
I’ve been a big fan of Tabu, and like she was saying earlier, Lolo [Karisma] did mention that it’s an unrivalled honour for me to be sharing screen space with a veteran like her. Kriti is also doing extremely well for herself and has really made an impression among the current crop of actors in Bollywood. – Kareena Kapoor (Bebola)
The Crew will go on floors in February 2023. Hopefully, it’s not a big budget film since we all know how that is going these days! At least, none of these lovely ladies charge more than 50 crore!
Let’s go for a vote, shall we?
