It is common knowledge that both of these ladies are being investigated for their association with conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar. Nora accepted gifts from he and his wife and Jacqueline accepted gifts and was in a relationship with him. As per ED, Jackie is in much deeper water than Nora but investigation is still on which is a wonder why Nora choose to file a case against Jackie.
200 crore? That’s a lot!
Apparently, Nora is accusing Jackie of attempting to destroy her career. She mentions it in the defamation suit.
What Nora (complainant) said about Jacqueline (rivals & accused no.1):
It has started to become evident that the aforementioned rivals being unable to compete with the Complainant fairly in the industry have started to try and tarnish her reputation which would cause her loss of work.
That the complainant is aggrieved of defamatory remarks made by the accused persons against the complainant, hence the present complaint. It should be reiterated that these defamatory remarks were made by the Accused No. 1 initially which was further carried forward and circulated by the other accused persons, all of whom were acting in connivance with each other and a conspiracy by the Accused No. l to ensure the financial, social, and personal downfall of the Complainant was batched, and enacted by the said actions.
Here’s Jacqueline’s response via her lawyer:
My client has the utmost respect for Nora. There definitely has been some sort of miscommunication. Quoting anybody’s reply, filed before an adjucating authority, is a matter of pure judicial proceeding. Any statement made during the course of arguments made before a judicial proceeding cannot be quoted in the public domain, the way it has been quoted now. My client has no intention to defame Nora or for that matter anybody else.
According to an insider source in Bollywood:
It’s shocking that Nora has filed a defamation suit against the media as well as Jacqueline. Giving a statement to competent authorities during an ongoing investigation is not defamation. It’s not as if Jacqueline has given media quotes and held a press conference in the matter. She has only cooperated in the official investigation and is fighting her case. Actually, since the case is an ongoing investigation, Jacqueline has maintained a dignified media silence on the issue.
Jacqueline has been around for a really long time. She has managed to survive even when things weren’t looking good for her. It doesn’t seem possible that Jackie would do something like what Nora is accusing her of. Besides, both are foreigners and have had or still have powerful men backing them. Y’all know who so don’t bother asking.
If suing someone based on what he/she said during investigations then Sara Ali Khan could have also sued Rhea Chakraborty and Ananya Pandey could have sued Aryan Khan. So…Also, was it Jackie who revealed it to authorities or was it the conman himself or was it based on investigations carried out?

Nora & Jacqueline don’t have kjo to protect them. They are not influential rich star kids. Protection from so called some people they have worked with is temporary & not permanent. Hence, they resort to such measures. They could either go behind the bars or lose work. Getting stuck with evil people is bad luck & poor judgement.
