Congratulations to Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor! After years of speculation, the couple finally tied the knot at their home in Mumbai.
The official wedding pictures were shared by Alia on her Instagram page with the following caption:
Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot – the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship – we got married.
With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites. Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special. Love, Ranbir and Alia
Wait, so “the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship”? Meaning this is the house that Ranbir got for himself after he became single again. Also, “balcony”?! 🤭
“One doesn’t know what it was about Alia. But Ranbir shared a different equation with her from the start. He saw her the way his dad Rishi Kapoor saw Neetu Singh: the woman he was going to marry,” says a close friend of the couple.
Alia looked very pretty while Ranbir looked like himself! At least, he could have shaved to look young since Alia is practically glowing! The light-colored attires are a breath of fresh air compared to the previous weddings.

Since he is incapable of love, he just went ahead with the best deal available. Alia is talented and successful, she will keep gushing over him and keep him in the news.
I look at RK and i only think : How the mighty have fallen.. this couple is so odd and its not the age gap, even PC and Nick look more in love. RK is just going with the flow, he looks so uncomfortable in some videos. you cant help but feel bad for him.. of course he knows the cameras are around and he wont give any ex the satisfaction that he made a compromise, but one can really sense an indifference.

So true! RK looks stoned in some pics. Like he’s kinda sleepwalking through the entire fiasco. I still don’t understand why he just had to marry Alia??!! What if Brahmastra flops? I mean come on, their marriage cannot surely guarantee the movie’s success. I for one can’t get their relationship at all.
Because she is young and has KJo backing=money and the buzz to keep kapoors in news. Plus a production house if RK doesnt get work in the coming years. He aint getting younger, his movies havent been actually putting the box office on fire. His contemporaries have raced ahead of him. Kjo backing and Bhatt production is a combination hard to overlook when you arent getting younger or more successful.
But they really make me cringe as he looks like an elder brother to her. Very icky!
Ranbir is not in love with Alia. No picture could make me believe it. I really like Ranbir a lot and I do feel sad that he didn’t end up with the one he truly loves. It’s only Alia who is truly happy here.
