Anna Faris fined $5000 for not taking care of her adopted Chihuahua dog run away

It’s nice that these kinds of rules exist in favour of animals. It doesn’t matter if you are a celebrity or not, you need to take care and be responsible for the animals you adopt. TV and film actress Anna Faris was fined $5000 when her dog was found underweight roaming the streets of Los Angeles. According to Kinder4Care, the pet shop that Anna adopted the Chihuahua, she signed an agreement not to rehome the dog and had to inform them first. It’s nice that the shelter cares for all of its animals and Anna is not the first celebrity to be charged, Ellen DeGeneres was in hot water too for the same reasons. Since this heartless piece of news made way, Anna issued the statement found below.

Anna Faris fined $5000 for not taking care of her adopted Chihuahua dog run away

“Five years ago I adopted an adorable Chihuahua named Pete, from the Kinder4Rescue Animal Rescue. Unfortunately when our son was born, we discovered that he was allergic to Pete, so I found what I thought was a
loving and responsible family to care for him,” the actress explains.

“My agreement with the animal rescue required me to contact them first before allowing another family to take Pete in. I failed to do this, and for that I am deeply sorry. I now understand the dangers of giving animals away for free,” she adds.

“I can’t tell you how thrilled I am that Pete has been found and is back in the hands of Kinder4Rescue. I feared that he had been lost forever and, although he is malnourished and in need of care, it seems he is going to make a full recovery. For this, I am so deeply thankful. We appreciate everyone who has sent good wishes, thoughts and prayers for Pete. Thank you!

So she gave away the dog to another family without letting the shelter know first and the dog was found in a bad state on the street.
