Arjun Reddy’s Hindi Remake: Kabir Singh’s Trailer is Here❕

So much has been talked about and discussed when the Hindi remake of Telugu’s superhit Arjun Reddy was going to happen. From the blind items stating the director didn’t want the producer’s choice of actor to play the lead because (in his own words) he’s too fat to the numerous controversies doing the rounds. ?

Arjun Reddy's Hindi Remake- Kabir Singh's Trailer is Here!

So, the trailer of Shahid Kapoor’s upcoming film ‘Kabir Singh’ has officially arrived. For Shahid, this movie looks really good.

It’s a good role for him, but how will the audience accept a remake of a very famous film, we will know when the film releases.

We are wondering, has anyone from the Hindi-speaking audience not watch ‘Arjun Reddy’? ?

Here’s the trailer of Kabir Singh starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani.

The film is directed by the original film’s director hence making it get more positive comments compared to Dhruv Vikram’s trailer of the Tamil remake, which by the way has been scrapped and is currently being reshot.

In this trailer, you can clearly see Shahid acting just like the film’s original lead actor, Vijay Devarakonda. Even the background score is the same as the original film.

Usually, in remakes, the actors will try their roles in their own way but for this one, it seems the director wanted an exact copy of the way Vijay portrayed his character, including the way he said his dialogues.

By the way, haven’t we move passed this kind of questions?

Blame Mallika Sherawat for originally making such a big deal about it!

By the way, do you know there was a film in which Dharmendra kissed Hema Malini and was fined for doing that?

    Anyways, that’s about it.

    Thoughts?

    1. There is a reason this movie was such a massive hit in telugu. It is not about an mcp, sure he is edgy, even idiotic, one might say, but no mcp. And not a stalker. Watch and enjoy!

    2. I sincerely hope this movie doesn’t send a wrong message of stalking, addiction etc. Some people tend to copy the star’s action in actual life. Just hoping no one takes to drinking, drugs etc for the sake of lost obsession.

    3. College romance gone bad, the boy cant get over the ex and takes to drinking and smoking to the point of being self-destructive and a nuisance in society. It couldn’t get any worse. Why is Bollywood going in the reverse direction, wasn’t 90s college stalking and harassment era over for Bollywood?

The story is a HUGE let down, but must say, Shahid’s acting is bravo, improved so damn much! However, this glorifies college hooliganism and violence, an act which precisely needs to end in colleges.

      No show for me. PASS.

      1. This reminds me of Shola Shabnam, Khiladi, Khambe Jaisi KhaDi Hai era of Bollywood where extreme harassment and bullyING the girl was supposed to make her fall in love. God! H.A.T.E. that treatment of colleges.

Not a fan of Kjo, but he single handedly changed entire college scene from harassment to fun and love and college fests through Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. And it exists till today. The man maybe a nepo promoter but sure has some massive contribution to Bollywood, he glorified love and friendship and female characters over harassment, stalking and bullying. I suppose he doesn’t agree with negativity and hence doesn’t show it. Have to give it to him.

    4. Haven’t watched the original. Did see this trailer and my fist reaction was does this story need telling? For all the reasons mentioned already – MCP, sexist, a woman’s role just an enabler for the male role to shine etc. I for one am not gonna watch it.

    5. Glorification of stalker and self destructive behavior is a serious hard pass for me. We don’t need such stories. Men get encouraged seeing such plot lines.

    6. Shahid is hot, my god. The way he tells her he’ll teach her anatomy when they’re in the classroom… The joke is crass, of course. But he’s so tender and sincere. The jokes are all MCP jokes, and the attitude of this guy is typical male entitlement – the same thing that causes him to suffer, I’m guessing. Curious to watch this anyway for Shahid and because I can relate to giving someone your all and then having to suffer for it.

    7. I was pleasantly surprised. Loved Shahid Kapoors acting. He is gentle when he tells her why he loves her, he is passionate when he asks her to give her 100% and he is unhinged under narcotic/alchohol influence.
Kiara on the other hand looks very flower pot kind.
I do agree it kind of promoted MCP behaviour and stalking – reminded me of that video vicky kaushal and Richard chadda did on hidden chavanism in 90s songs. Maybe its has a lesson in climax to not be MCP, hope the story surprises us 🙂

    8. 100% agree with lucy’s comment cant reply to that for some reason
It’s a remake we dont need or want.

    9. People who haven’t watched will like it.with the Twitter reaction I am assuming a lot of people haven’t watched it.for me the Hindi trailer was so underwhelming.the movie had many flaws and was glorifying a MAle chauvinist and stalker but it was so engaging.I mean it was hard to take off my eyes for a second from Vijay,he just had a natural swag and was pretty attractive even as a dirty man during his drug phase.this ones Is a frame to frame copy and I for one haven’t found sahid to be attractive.he is stuck in a 14 year old adolescent body like Alia.compared to Vijay he is so not attractive.

      1. shahid was a miscast. they should have taken RK. but he has done too many such roles before but for some reason he suits the tender lover gone rogue roles.
