I remember the reviews of Dear Zindagi saying that some women will go to therapy expecting a magician like SRK making it all right with his talks. What a load of garbage that was, relying on SRK’s charisma to carry a movie forward like that. “But they tackled depression” fuck off. They took the easy road out, getting SRK to be the savior of the successful rich girl who didn’t have anyone to answer to.

Depression is caused by a range of reasons. It has nothing to do with the profession or so called ‘status’ in the society. A successful barrister can suffer from depression so can a local chai walla. I often think that people around you make it worse due to ignorance. Instead of reading about it and educating themselves, they treat the person suffering from depression like there is something strange or sad about them. It’s not weakness or some crazy shit – it’s plain mental illness. I wouldn’t be surprised if Alia has it.
Why do we need to care about these actresses having depression? Poor them, actresses having depression like us humans at least they can get the best treatment money can buy!
Depression can happen to anyone, but just because you have money doesn’t mean you will come out of it. It depends on the person suffering from it. Whether they have money or not, that does not matter. What matters is if they want to get better and what are they willing to do for it.

I can only say that this is not exactly Alia. She has no reason for depression, she has a successful career and everything is good in her personal life. I think it’s Katrina. After many flops, she signs films with Khans and returns to her successful career
This is the wrong perception that people have of depression, it doesn’t have to happen when things are not going well for you. It can happen anytime. If you remember Deepika suffered from depression the same year she had 4 hit films. For women, it’s even more possible because of hormones changes.
Of course I remember about Deepika, but here, in agreement with the blind, there is a hint of Katrina. Alia can not return to a successful career, she’s already so successful, but after several flops Katrina returned to the Khans films, this means a return to a successful career
