Today’s blind item comes from Mumbai Mirror. It seems that this actor doesn’t think that only one film based on his life is enough. He wants more and since this is an international investor, he must be getting big money. But yeah, who wants to see the lovey-dovey version of his life? Maybe they can show his life to school boys as a warning what can happen to them if ever they take the bad road after school. Let’s just wait and see how things turn out.
Bollywood Blind Item
Biopic 2.0
A lead actor, on whom a biopic is being made currently, is apparently already in talks with an international investor for a second film on his life. While the first film is being promoted as shiny-happy movie that explores the relationship between a father and son, the troubled bits of his life will remain out of the script, or will probably be mentioned in passing.
The actor’s substance abuse and criminal charges will, we hear, be explored in the second film, which is aimed at a more mature audience, and may be released on a private channel instead of movie theatres. The junta gets the feel-good Bollywood entertainer. Such a clever plan, no?
Won’t happen. These rumors always tend to crash and burn instead of getting made.
I can’t believe he would want to showcase his criminal actions into a movie just so he can gain some profits out of it. Desperate much
In the US, a convicted criminal can’t profit off of his criminal history, whether in the form of a book or a biopic. Pity that’s not the case in India.
