It’s really sad what happened to this young singer. To think that she lost her case against the producer, who was abusing her, that must have put a toll on her. She not only lost the case, but the judge ordered her to complete her contract with him and the music company. Many female singers came forward to support her and supporting her claim of being abused by this producer and yet the court found him not guilty. She Shows Up
This singer has really struggled over the past couple of years.
She has been trying to keep her career going by making new music despite a former colleague’s attempts to intimidate her and shut her down.
Even though she is out of money and she is battling serious depression, she shows up every day to work and to work out. The weight gain is a good sign, because she’s recovering from an eating disorder.
So the next time you think of her as a one-hit wonder, or want to make fun of her lack of success or her appearance, you might want to consider what she’s been through.
to be honest she doesnt have the voice to be a singer…she just had 1 hit. she used to be a telephone operator. and god only knows what the truth is about her allegations. there are more talented singers than her struggling in the world.
My heart goes out to her. Next time though name the producer too. Not fair to only name the victim.
