The blind item below comes from PinkVilla. It’s about this star son and how he got the recent movie he signed. We forgot that this movie was supposed to have a different star cast that the one it currently has. We are not talking about the first star cast, but the one that was decided once the movie went back to shooting mode. It was on hiatus for months because of different problems. There was also another blind item by PV again about how this film didn’t have a third main character and how the producer created one just for this star son.
Now another blind item has come out about the same film and how another actor was supposed to be the third character. So which blind item is true? Perhaps, there was no third character and the character that has been replaced was the only male lead character. Another character was added on when this star son expressed his desire to be part of this project or the producer simply did it to please the star son’s dad, who is a living legend. Only they know, but for this star son this is like his comeback to the movies after being off-set for quite a while.

This SPORTY actor had another actor UNCEREMONIOUSLY REPLACED for a NEW project
They are both born to megastars and both sons are actor – one perhaps more established than the other. While one’s father is from Bollywood the other is from the South. The younger actor from the South and quite a heart-throb back there, was to act in his second Bollywood project – a movie produced by a feel-good-movie making director. The quirky love story and a love triangle (between a girl and her two lovers) was to be directed by a maker who is known for his dark, edgy movies.
Everything was happening in the manner all wanted (including money, dates etc) and the South hero was all set to sign the movie till the Bollywood actor, also a sports lover, stepped into the picture. He was in talks with the same arthouse director but for another movie but he heard about the script and fell in love with the character to be played by the Southern star. The older actor is also said to have signed a film of the second producer (involved in the quirky love story) who was funding the project but that film was shelved so he had to return the signing amount.
Both producers and the actor sat down and scratched their heads till they came up with a solution – the Bollywood actor would replace the South star in the quirky love story. Some excuses were mumbled to the crestfallen South actor about how the role suited the older actor better and the production house would come to him with another project soon. The South actor had to hastily make an exit from the movie and he’s too much of a gentleman to talk. Luckily, for him, the actor is already making his Bollywood debut in a film so his foray into the film industry remained unhampered. That film is complete and is expected to release mid-year.
Everyone’s curious about the Bollywood actor’s sudden decision to be part of a quirky love story where he plays the parallel lead with a much younger actor who is still finding his way around. It’s his comeback film in a certain way too as the actor has been involved in projects outside Bollywood for the last few years and cut himself off from films during that time. Whether it’s a wise decision or not only time will tell.

Even if the Bahchans spend all their money on hiring pr or use the help of all their contacts in the industry to revive Abhishek’s career, Abhishek is never going to make it for a second time. I mean he could not make it the first time around when his competition were Tushar Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Uday Chopra, Vivek (I did not include Hritik and Shahid because they are still acting). This time around he has to compete with much more younger, more talented, more popular and more hardworking actors than before. I made a similar comment on the pv post about Reshma being AB jr’s new manager, pr bots attacked my comment by calling me a Salman fan (and pv did not allow/ post my reply to them). I did not even compare him to the Khans or Akki because to reach their level he has to first surpass gen-next actors like RS VD, RK, Rajkumar Rao, Ayushman, SSR and yet pr bots made the whole comment section of that post about how Salman fans were commenting in jealousy.

@kiran, abhi and Ash are not really in a perfect relationship… I read on skj site that Ash is frustrated with her marriage… Maybe that was the case earlier when jaya was controlling… Now no in the Bachchan family heeds to jaya anymore and that’s why she is drinking a lot these days…. Maybe AB sr and ab jr have realized that it’s only Ash who can continue earning money for their family and are now letting her freely choose her roles.. With already shweta’s marriage hitting rock bottom, they don’t want another marriage to head the same way…..
ALso, SR bachchan is getting old… his all BW relationships will go with him. I hope ABHi-Ash are investing in building their social capital…since both of them do not posses great talent.
Ash is trying to trying to be pally with some bw folks, but still one’s nature can take 180 degree turn all of sudden.. Ash always had been private, but work is in progress.. . Ash is also making sure abhi starts taking film offers… Before the senior one retires, probably they want abhi to get back to his feet…
He can do side character roles…maybe in some Nepo producers movies. He burnt bridges with Yash Raj…thanks to Aish. There is Dharma camp but Dharma has bunch of Nepo’s to support.

Ash has mended her relationship with SRK… She is getting friendly with Rekha.. She was close to Sridevi for the past few years…. She is on good terms with Ambanis,KJo,SLB,Maniratnam etc……….
@amanda Ash also mended her relationship with Rani aka maalkin of YRF. The whole family attended prayer meet of Rani’s father, there were news of how Rani visited Ash when her father passed away and there are pics of Ash and Rani posing together (in group pictures) at Manish and Kjo parties.
The fact we have to list who she is friendly with says a lot about Ms Rai.

The news articles mentioned that it was Aishwarya who hired Reshma to revive Abhi’s career. I feel like he was content with managing his sports team and it was Ash and AB sr who were pushing for him to get back to films. Not only Amitabh even Aish’s roles will soon start drying up as heroines have a limited shelf life in bollywood. The way AB sr lobbied Abhishek to get roles by saying he will act in movies if Abhi get offered a movie by the directors/producers and how he called up JP Dutta on behalf of Abhi to reject Paltan, the family seem desperate to get Abhi’s career going.
Also did you watch that video, where they both attened an event together, and when paps started calling out Ash’s name Abhi walked away eventhough Ash was pleading with him to pose with her. After seeing that video and how unsurppotive Bahchans were during Jazba and ADHM release, it was evident that the happy family act was just an act. It seem the whole family have a problem that Ash is more successful than their Abhishek.
Also what is the deal with Shweta? Always hanging out at bollywood parties and attending all the events. Also AB sr is always posting her pictures or Navya’s and praising them on social media. Is she trying to get her daughter in to bollywood? He hardly post pics of Aaradhya and only post pics of Ash when her fans call him out for his double standard. He even snubbed Ash by not including her picture in the picture collage he shared on women’s day.
@monalisa, I read on SKJ site that,Ash doesn’t let Aaradhya out of her sight and personally takes care of everything and sometimes takes help from her mother….. Aaradhya is not that close to her paternal grandparents… And also Ash Abhi live separately from the Sr Bachchans… That explains why AB Sr posts less pics of Aaradhya… Maybe Shweta resides with Bachchan Sr and he can freely post pics about them on social media………..Ash is very protective mom and may have objections with her daughters pics floating that freely in media… This is just my guess…. Also Sr Bachchan may not be that close to Ash and her daughter….
@amanda but Ash is the one who pose with Aaradhya for pap pics. I see a lot pics where Ash is trying to coax Aara to pose for paps. The way Ash takes Aaradhya along with her mother whenever she goes abroad shows that the Bahchans are not close with Aaradhya. Even when Abhi was not working she never leave her daughter alone with him even. There seem to be a lot of problems within the whole family yet they are pretending to be one big happy family.
It is so strange…and misogynistic at certain level. The whole family was so happy to get into marriage with Aish …then so successful actress and entire family was basking on the wedding glory…including Ash…rubbed everyone the wrong way with ” ur not invited to our wedding” . They married her for her success and now they cant stand it.

@kiran101 A lot of people say Ash used the Bahchan’s but I feel they also used her. At the time of their marriage Ash’s bollywood career was not going well but she was doing hollywood movies and famous world wide. The way the whole Bahchan family (along with Amar Singh) tagged along Ash on the Pink panther premire red carpets, Abhi walking with her on Cannes and oscar red carpets, Abhi going on Oprah with Ash and promoting themselves as some kinda power couple in India shows that the Bahchans were basking in Ash’s international fame and trying to promote themselves as well.
Aish and Abhi got married around the time when after back to back flops Abhi’s movies started to become hit with the Doom movies, Bunty aur babli. The Bahchans and the whole bollywood insider gang were confident and cocky that he was going to make it. But after marriage his career went downhill to the point it could not be revived. Ash’s career after marriage and even after a kid is still better than Abhi’s career. Maybe the Bahchan’s resent her for it.
Also her comment as to why she is not on any social media platform: “Coming back to the fact that I was married into a family with the three of us within this turf, I did not want to be part of the comparative space. It opens you up to trolling. So out of respect for my husband and my father-in-law, I don’t need to be a part of this at this point of time!” prove the point that they are not happy that she is more successful and popular than both ABs. The way AB sr acted by threatening to quit twitter, when he lost some followers and SRK became the most follwed Indian instead of him, prove that if Ash joined social media and got a bigger fan following than him it will not sit right with his inflated ego. Ash will surely have more followers than both the Bahchan because she is more popular all over the world. AB sr is a misogynist and a hypcrite.

Its clear that everything is not hunky-Dory…its fine…every marriage has issues . I dont think Aish is going extra mile to prove its all perfect when its very clear that Aradhya is hardly with Abhishek. Even Sr B is not posting pics of Aish-Ara. Its too out in open to throw a blanket on the mess.

it’s strange that Bhushan refused to change the script. Many top actors and even actresses are asked to change the script if they do not like something. I read that Bhushan wants this role of Aamir, Aamir absolutely wants to change the script. Admin , in Thugs of Hindostan. had to play Hrithik but then was replaced by Aamir or was it another movie?

As for the film, Mogul was blind and the admin wrote what the problem was, but I already forgot (Also Akshay is not now part of the crack, according to the reports the film is postponed, but I think it will not happen.) When Reshma left Salman and became manager of Akshay,nothing good for akshay did not happen. Akshay began to lose projects one by one (Namaste England, Crack, Mogul), but all kinds of Filmpare awards still ignore him.
He didn’t lose Namaste England, he took too long to decide to be part of it and Vipul (the director) realised that perhaps Akshay didn’t want to do the film and decided to move ahead with another cast. He and Vipul used to be very close at one time.

Akshay too long was interested in Namaste England. if you remember, he really wanted Katrina for a female role and persuaded her to work with him for several years. but Katrina always had a type of “no time, no dates,” then they looked for another main character, then they approved Sonakshi. Only when Sonakshi was officially approved for the role, Akshay decided to withdraw from the project. if he was not interested in the project, he would never give his consent to the role and did not wait for the filming. he has no problems with films and there is always work. it’s something else, maybe in the script, maybe in the main heroine – I do not know, but I also think that the relationship between Akshay and Vipul soured

U could be right about Akshay – he is losing many projects and his image has fallen. IDK if it is Reshma or maybe ppl are fed up with him and his wife. These actors become very difficult to deal with, when they are making plenty money. And Twinkle is more involved in his career than ever before. Also, Akshay misogynistic ways are better left in the 90s than now.
