The movie industry is a very competitive world. Actors and actresses fight over each other. Actors fight for box office success and, sometimes, to get actresses. Actresses, on the other hand, fight for roles and as a result, some of them are willing to do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING just to land a high-profile role.
Star kids do have it easy since they don’t really compromise to get roles. It seems to be that most of the outsiders are the ones trying to get a hook on someone powerful in Bollywood just so that they can get roles. It does not matter whether it is a good or 5-minute role, all they want is a part.

A red-hot-right-now filmmaker known for his ‘closeness’ to a young actress he’s cast in four of his films already is having a hard time convincing the A-lister whom he’s just signed for his new film to work with that heroine. Insiders say the actor is not excited about the director’s choice of leading lady. They also reveal that the actress is ‘determined’ to land the role.

This perception that “star kids” don’t “compromise” is a false misconception that Kjo likes to promote so that we automatically assume all these other actresses are whores and feel nicely about his faves. Alia has been rumored to have slept with SRK and even boasting about the fact previously! There were a few blinds about them. They are not sleeping with the old man just for sh*ts and giggles but rather to build alliances. Jahnvi has linked up with Ishaan, Alia has linked up with Ranbir, Alia has linked up with Sid, these are not just done because they think they’re having fun – they are all strategically doing this so that in the future they will be cast opposite these people again. They will all hook up with the male actors the only difference is ultimately they will be “bf/gf” with these people here and there so that you don’t judge them whereas the “small time” actors typically go for the producers or directors instead. Sonakshi was rumored to be sleeping with Salman for a while, then she hooked up with Ranveer – and was really mad at him when he started to chase Neha Dhupia at one of the out of town awards shows that Anushka was also at (I was there when she was badmouthing him). Coincidentally she also worked with both Salman and Ranveer – so again it’s all strategic to get work. There were also rumors of her sleeping with Akshay. All this is out there people have all heard the rumors but for some reason we all keep harping on like Mouni Roy because Kjo covers this stuff all up. Like you think Karishma Kapoor was not hustling on her back? Weren’t there rumors of her doing things in Dubai and mummy Bachchan finding out which is why the relationship broke between Abhishek and Karishma? Kajol is maybe the only star kid that has not. It’s just that the media paints star kid hook ups as “omg wow they’re dating” whereas non star kid hook ups are “omg she’s trying to casting couch”. Only difference is perception. No one is hooking up just for pure lust factors but for survival purposes so they are continued to be cast or chosen.

There is a difference here and you misunderstood the whole blind. The blind item about Tiger and Disha is true. There is a series of other blind items that have mentioned how Sushant is almost harassing his co-star in that film. You don’t get surveillance over some small flirting, this is bad what Sushant did and it’s why the production house had to send someone over to make sure that Sushant does not do the same thing again. What Tiger was doing was consensual while whatever Sushant was doing was not welcomed by that girl.
Srk only khan who claim alltime that he don’t interferes in casting unlike others 2khans but in zero he rejected sonam as 1st choice of ananad l rai’s zero n recommended anushka n deepika’s name.
In Shah Rukh’s defense, Sonam is awful. SRK-Sonam pairing would be a very bad one.

To be honest both are too similar in terms of personalities, being over hyped. I hope they marry it will be Justice to see kapoor clan being used by Alia for PR for herself and Bhatt clan. Let them marry and use each other for PR.kapoor clan will have a bahu who has all the things neetu objected to in his exes.
Based on that blind about his friends advicing him not to do this movie and his constant disagreement with the director regrading the lead heroine, I’m still of the opinion that he is doing all this drama to get out of this movie citing creative differences. RK agreed to work with Vaani what is his problem with Nushrat?
@monalisa yrf is mr india and vanni is his fav, mr india has a lot more power in industry for ranbir to take a stand in front of him. he signed yrf one before sanju and after JJ so was desperate to save his career. After the sucess of sanju he might want a more A list actress maybe he sending out this frnds telling me to leave to get luv to sign the girl rk wants.

He signed both Shamshera and Luv Ranjan movie before Sanju released.. You maybe right he want an A-list actress maybe. They still have time though. The movie is slated for a December 2020 release…But my gut feeling is he is stalling just to get out of doing this movie. He even rejected the two-hero Takht. Maybe after Sanju success he is not keen to do a two-hero movie is what I feel. Anyways, lets see how this ends
@monalisa to be honest TOH teasers is reminiscent strongly of pirates of the Caribbean especially with back ground music , the visuals if you listen to sound track its POC reminder. i hope the story isnt a derivative of that movie

@leap I agree.TOH teasers give strong POC vibes. But the movie is based on a book written about Tuggee culture in British India so most probably movie would not be bollywoodized version of POC. Haven’t seen D3 so can’t comment on it.
Everyone who watched Luv Ranjan movies
(I have never seen any of his movie, so can’t comment on it) called them misogynistic movies so I wonder how much of a meaty or piovotal role his movies will have for the female lead that A-listers like Alia, DP, Anu would agree. The only A-listers who do flowerpot roles are Kat and Kareena but they will not work with RK for obvious reasons. So RK can only get an A-lister onboard if the role is substantial.

Isn’t brahmastra with alia and rk releasing in 2019??? So sherbat most probably won’t be a part of this project as no director or producer will recast the same pair back to back.
And read somewhere that brahmastra is a franchise—- so till brahmastra is completed no rk-aloo movie’s outside this franchise in all probability.
