Bollywood Blind Item – April 2017 6

This is a really old blind item. We have never seen it before, which is why we decided to share it with you all. We don’t know how true the blind item is because we have seen the film and the director was/is wrong. Nothing could have saved the film, it was way too slow. It did have nice songs, though! How ironic that when the film released, we thought these two debutantes were the most innocent ones around. It was only when verbal diarrhea hit them that we realised how images can be deceitful. Speaking of these two spoiled brats, it seems that working with this director traumatised the hell out of them. We are saying this because he’s someone, who takes his art very seriously and he didn’t hire them again in his other films.

One of the country’s finest filmmakers mid-way through his last film, decided to sack the debutante leading lady who, to put bluntly, just didn’t get it. Shot after shot was goofed up until finally the brilliant director who has created some of the biggest contemporary classics, lost his cool.

He decided to sack this star-daughter. The star-daughter’s parents rushed to the shooting spot and some of us from the director’s close circle of friends also persuaded him not to do this to the girl’s career.
Today, the filmmaker, arguably the best since Guru Dutt and Raj Kapoor, regrets not doing the right thing by his film. “I should’ve listened to the voice within me which said I was wrong. My film would’ve been saved.”

    1. Totally agree with bollywood. Ranbir is overrated. I loved him in Wake up Sid and Barfi but the rest of his movies were meh. Tamasha was one of the worst ones for him. It felt like he was over acting.

    2. Best since Guru Dutt? Lol!

And you hate Ranbir! He’s boring and a cheat, entitled (at least he was) and probably arrogant as fuck as well, but he’s not that bad. At least not as bad as Sonam.

      1. To be honest, they were both good in the film. But it was a really slow and meaningless film that would have looked better as a stage play. As for the Ranbir today, he’s overrated. Too much importance given to him.
