The tycoon had this calendar and every year, he would have new girls shot in a sexy way. It would be futile to say that this old creep is like a nice uncle to these girls. You all know the story. The fashion world is very similar to Bollywood, if not worst. They strongly believe in the use and discard policy. Do you think they brought all these pretty girls to an outdoor location and have not tried to get creepy with them?
Speaking of this calendar, two of Bollywood’s biggest female stars were also part of it. Bollywood’s Ultimate Godfather saw this UK import and enquired about her. This was her first big photo shoot, and he noticed her from that time on. This was before her first Indian film came out. Yes, the same disastrous one. Can’t help but wonder whether the ladies in that film went through any predatory behaviour on the sets.

The big shot photographer, known for his annual calendar shoots, might face legal trouble soon?
With all the on-going Me Too movement gaining momentum looks like there are a lot of old skeletons that are ready to jump out of the closet. This time, the man in question is a famous photographer who is known for his yearly sensuous calendar shoots. The case goes back to 2011 and 7 girls who are out to find a legal route to make him pay for his deeds. One hears that the girls were asked for sexual favours by not only the ace lens man but also the business tycoon who owned the yearly project.
The girls were also sent for high profile parties. But once the girls refused to do so, they clearly were dropped and were not given work at all. Now that the girls have threatened to take a legal route, we hear the photographer is right now sitting across the table trying to crack a deal with them to not take legal action nor tweet about it. Wonder if his deals will click or not?

@ananya I agree with u.I don’t think Ash have even done such think like u mention about dp.Ash to get offered by yash raj to give her big high profile launch film but ash turn down bcz she wanted to complete her college even before miss India.raja Hindustani was offered her in miss India days but she has to prepared for miss world so she rejected it.in 1993 sanjay duty openly saying in interview he loved to date her but ash not reacted he was also came with protection like lallu who save his harem of girls from casting cauch.Ash get many offered like this.if ash have done casting couch in India she never have doing in Hollywood also like priyanka chopra.ash to manage to get even bigger projects n film by this.like how PC getting it.
If the article is true it’s really shocking. But I still have my doubts with Ash or Dp doing casting couch. Not that they weren’t offered but they’d pick it up. I’ll tell you why.
If Dp did get her way up with sleeping, why didn’t she grab Salman hand at the age of 17, and break into cinema with a protection net? I mean she’ll at least would have had to sleep only with him then. Could have even demanded a relationship. Why let it go when she had no other offers and when she was okay to face casting couch?
Imtiaz wanted to sign her before oso offer came her way. If the latest Nargis blind is true, then maybe he also approached her with lusty intentions. Why not pick that up if she was okay with sleeping?
Now this is something I know from a common friend in Banglore who is sort of close to her family. Padukones & Mallya were friends. She did hung out with Siddarth as a child. So she getting the Calender can be a favour too?!
Again this is via the common friend, Dp had a powerful politician or something person’s son as bf during modelling days. He was kind of Sallu nature and my friend told me he was her safety net during modelling days. The guy and his father were powerful and she was known as his girl, so no one would mess with her. There was also an incident of him beating up someone in the modelling field for her.
The agency which handled Dp back then was a family friend and someone who was really fond of her. That woman used to push for Dp hard for many ads tho ppl were not that sure. I forgot her name. So in no way she was manhandled or arm twisted by the firm. That was the only condition her father put before her. If she wants to try modelling do it via her agency, for safety.
What someone mentioned above itself, how she was rejected offers b.s. she was not ready to do sexual favours. I’ve heard of it many times. She started of as a backdrop model and then worked her way up to the showstopper. Once she was No.1 model she had deals at her hand but until then she had struggled.
She got rejected for Sawariya and oso was on hold for some time, there was no guarantee if the project will take up. She was upset and down that her father via one of his contacts got her a kannada film. He might not have hold in bollywood but the director or some relative of the director of her kannada film was friends with Mr. Padukone.
Above all, my instincts about Padukone family. How they intervened when Rkdp broke up etc shows how they’d allow her all kinds of freedom but won’t allow certain rules being neglected. They’re a VERY strict family and she would be OUT if she were to go against them. Seriously, not that they don’t give freedom they do but the No is a No.
And with Ash I don’t have such inside info. But it’s my instincts. She doesn’t seem the type to do it. And both she and Dp got the Khn girl, kapoor girl tag soon enough to hv a protecter. Later they fended on their own and made it up.
Again if all this is indeed true still it doesn’t matter. We’re all becoming more and more aware of how this industry works with each passing day. Once they made it, and when they failed, they didn’t go back to the same road, instead toiled and made what is theirs today. Even when industry was against them at a point. Dealt with abusive relationships yet came out of the ‘love hold’ to lead a normal life. They’ve become inspiration by what they’ve turned out to be. At least for me. For me, Vidya, Aishwarya and Deepika stand tall with respect to the way they conducted themselves.

I like both Ash and DP, but won’t be surprised if they have gone the casting couch way. I don’t blame them because the power structure in Bollywood is stacked against women. Similarly I don’t blame Kat for her past either, rather I admire her for taking care of her family.
What I don’t like about Kat is that she’s has no loyalty and will absolutely enable (not just tolerate) a man’s infidelity and adultery if it works in her favor. Ash and DP had the guts to walk away from Salman and Ranbir respectively. Kat hung on even though one was hitting her and the other was deriding her publicly. She also had an affair with Akshay while with Salman, and with Ranbir while he was still with DP. She comes across as someone who isn’t just doing the casting couch because she has no choice, but because she wants to use it as an incentive. Even worse, she concentrates on it much more than on learning the craft of acting. Women like her make professional environment worse for other women.
True,and don’t forget the numerous stories of treating anyone who can’t do anything for her as in get her movies,like absolute shit.hundreds of junior artist and production crew commented on how badly behaved she is.

Whatever happened transpired long ago and i don’t think it’s fair to blame the victim if they were one at all. Everyone here can only assume based on gossip and rumors. Everyone should be blaming the perpetrators, not the victims. That goes for all walks of life. Being a celebrity doesn’t mean u deserve the extra attention on your past, what matters is how u continue to conduct yourself and your choice to bring up any issues if there were any.
Well Well All those things i said about DP – Mallya and Kat – Mallya are coming out in the open, just chill everyone, these girls are not coming out with their metoo stories as it was consensual for money, roles and fame, they have used their sexuality to crush their competitors and do not want your sympathy.
DP and Kat both were doing Mallya for free during their Calendar Girl days but later charged Mallya crores after they became famous, Kat spent some 3 days at Kingfisher Goa villa for 3 crores and DP charged him 16-20 crores for a year most of which was paid via a property. After this both of them got even more famous and only did things for roles etc and not for straight up money.

I know someone who knows her dad and family when she was a little kid. Deepika always wanted to become a model and she would idolize Ash. Her dad was dead against her joining modeling but she was pretty firm on what she wanted to achieve. She did not complete her education and dropped out of high school to pursue modeling and films. Everyone knows what these models have to go through in order to make to to the kingfisher calendar. My friend who is small time print model in bangalore said she gets rejected from big ads or ramp work because she refuses to sleep with people in order to get the job. Her dad has an impeccable reputation and is a thorough gentleman. But we need to remember that kids have their own moral ideas and thinking no matter how you bring them up. Sometimes ambition blinds people so much they don’t see what they are doing till they reach the top and look back. There was a very explosive article which had ramya krishnan talk about her journey as south actress. They did not name her but everything she said was good enough to indicate it was her. In that you can see that she make certain choices and does certain things which in hindsight she feels were wrong but at that point in time she felt she needed to do it to get the things she was getting. I am no doctor but my person opinion is Deepika’s depression wasnt entirely because of RK (i don’t like that guy one bit) but could also because of the conflict between what she was doing or her current environment and where she came from (her family,values) etc. She probably struggles with that and will
continue doing so.
as for Ash, well garden vareli ads are only given to models who sleep with the big guys and she did that ad pretty early in her career when she was a nobody so less said the better there.

Pooja ash also had to do a lot of stuff,when she was a model with a lot of photographers and perverts in the modelling industry.this was in the 90’s when it was all a shady place with a lot of mob influence.more darker gruesome things used to happen then.during miss world other contestants complained that she was being given preferential treatment because she offered sexual favours to organisers.again this is gossip not truth.she also had to encounter casting couch with at least 5 directors that I know of,won’t name them.from what I read from magazines of those times,and stardust was one big explosive gossip magazine,salman as usual used to scout for newer girls and he had his eyes on ash since 1996,much before it was officially reported.they had signed josh in 1996 and apparently salman refused to play her brother.then he recommended her for hum dil in 1997 in order to come close to her.it was after the affair with salman from 1998 she didn’t have to do anything with anyone.he warned off most predators,beat up subhash ghai and warned anil kapoor.this was in those magazines.apparently he also kept her safe from the Mumbai mafia.but later he used these same people to harass her.

Btw monalisa,I never once said salman didn’t abuse aishwarya.my opinion is the following,they both fell in love madly,salman was set to marry somy,salman family believed ash is using him for career and wanted him to quickly marry somy,ash family didn’t like salman one bit,wanted her to breakup.but these two continued with their affair for two years,until 1999 September.when ash broke up with him,but somy had realised salman doesn’t love her,she ran away to Florida.salman ash again got back together by 1999 December,her father was furious.the broken arm and black eye was said to be given by her father,salman didn’t come out to defend himself so everyone assumed it was salman.ash never once acknowledged salman,though they almost lived together.this drove him crazy,and he lashed out brutally.they had a tumultuous relationship until June 2001.
