The blind item below came out so suddenly that it has raised a bunch of questions. First of all, why now? Secondly, why not? Thirdly, it doesn’t make sense! Fourth, why is PinkVilla still entertaining ridiculous blind items from this particular source? Alright, so let’s dig in.
For some reason, PinkVilla decided to publish a blind item today that should have been published a year ago. We don’t think it’s true and based on the descriptions, it seems that the source was really high on something when he decided to share this piece of news to PV. When you read the blind item, you will know. This actress is not that desperate to be cast in projects with her ex. It’s why she has been hanging around and hanging on to the other ex for movie offers/favours. If we are wrong and she is still holding a candle for this actor, then she needs to get herself together. Still, we think that after what he has done to her, she is over him. If you think about it, she now has the other superstar by her side so she knows that she does a film with this actor again, that superstar might not want to help her. There is no way she will jeopardise that.
It will be interesting to see how this film will end up. Shooting has not even finished and they are already praising it. Of course, by they, we mean the producer of the film! By the way, we don’t think that this director and this actress are friends after the breakup. The director chose his friend’s side so his relationship with the actress was long done with. He got the kebab now, why would he bother being fake friends with this actress?

In B-Town some actresses are cast more for their friendships with the directors and actors than for their acting prowess. While this top actress has proved her acting chops after some movies where she played the glamour queen, she is still fighting for some big league films. Her close friendship with a superstar has got her some movies but she’s still hungry for more.
Her BFF, a young director who has made a couple of super hit films, was planning his next project, a very expensive affair with lots of VFX and action. Another plus point for the actress was that the film’s producer was another close friend of hers. While he was keen to cast the top actress – there was a slight hitch – it also starred her long-time ex-boyfriend with whom she had broken up a few years ago. Their breakup wasn’t amicable and in most interviews, the actress would keep very subtly blaming the young actor for it. While the actor has kept his silence with dignity, unfortunately, the damage has been done and he’s become the fall guy for their breakup.
When news of the expensive science fiction, fantasy adventure film reached the actress’s ears she was thrilled. She assumed that the producer and her BFF director would cast her, being her friends. The actress even sent out big feelers and hints through their common group of friends. The producer and director spoke to the lead actor (the actress’s ex) and asked him if he was comfortable working with her. To their shock and dismay, he flatly refused to even consider the idea of working with her and would walk out if she was cast. Following this, a young actress, who has been winning accolades with her acting prowess, was signed opposite the tall and fair actor and the first schedule for the film is already complete. People who have seen the rushes are saying their chemistry is sizzling. The older actress (who was rejected by the hero) is still smarting from the slight and while she’s become on good terms with the producer again, is not as close to her BFF director as she used to be.
But then in B-Town, there are never any permanent friends and enemies so don’t be surprised if the top actress patches up (even if for appearance sake or in a professional capacity) with her BFF director and is seen socialising together.

Kat is still not over rk. She is desperate for her exes. In an interview she did admit that she gets upset when her director friend don’t cast her. In an interview to see cafe she called ayan her 3 am friend. Also, user Kat is well known for getting movies due to her proximity with superstar ex Salman and friends Ali and kabir. Still, she fails to prove her acting skills. Having said that, I feel this blind is FAKE and KJO PR work.
@Goldengirl i agree the cast was announced in 2014 they must have planned this alia/ranbir linkup and along with this blind now they added extra details to make it sound current. None of his exes need to want to work with him both kat and dp have far better careers at this point than ranbir who is desperate for a hit. Kat gets movies due to closeness to salman, RK at this point is a case who cant even help himself let alone others
This movie’s most annoying thing is it’s pr. They will throw anyone under the bus just to shove Alia/Ranbir chemistry into people head. The people at the receiving end of this nonsense so far are outsiders. First Mouni now Kat.

@leap Not only Brahmastra promotion he is doing all this mostly for Sanju promtion. Sanju is also a very high budget movie and he desperately needs the movie to be a hit. Really don’t know why he still getting big budget movies when he is not a bankable star. Even Shamshera is a big budget movie. I know because he is a star kid.

@leap I seem to know more about Ranbir than one of his legit fan. True story.lol.. I never was a fan, even preferred the non-actor Imran khan over him when they debuted. Maybe all my Ranbir info helped me figure out his physco tendencies..haha..

During Jagga Jasoos promotions Kat said she will never work with Ranbir again. She got Salman why would she want to work with flop Ranbir. IMHO even saying Kat has acting chops is way better than calling RK dignified. Some of the videos I saw of them both while promotion of Jagga Jasoos the way RK was behaving with Kat had me cringing with shame. No gentleman will talk to a lady like that in public however much he might hate her.
