Oh god how much I hate this utter shaming of Katrina and Kangana. So what if she was a pornstar? Goddammit, RK really has no backbone if that pushed him to break up. Even Salman Khan, ever the sexist won’t-kiss-on-screen prude, has the sense not to judge her for her past, and to see that she is more than it. Honestly, Katrina will never reach the potential of any of these heroines becuse she cannot get rid of that accent or overcome her inability to emote – she just does not have the talent. But the hardwork she has put into every other aspect of her work shows that she has accepted her limitations and is now finding her strengths, playing to them. Here is a woman who has literally risen from nothing and become a household name, paving the path for more foreigners to enter the industry. And still all people ever bother to remember about her is that she used to supposedly solicit. The slut shaming, the vitriol, oh god.

I don’t understand why people are so against Katrina or Kangana. Though both are as different as chalk and cheese I do find a certain similarity in the negativity which seems to follow these two ladies. Katrina for supposedly being an ex-escort/sexworker, forever manipulative talentless woman, always using people for her convenience, and having arrogant attitude and Kangana for supposedly dating/not dating Junior Roshan, demanding equal respect/status/opportunities/rights in male dominated nepotistic Bollywood and speaking out her mind to suit her convenience to get even with her detractors who are many and increasing by the hour. Where Katrina is concerned she truly deserves a break because who nobody in Bollywood is “pure” or non-manipulative and it’s universally accepted that Bollywood is super incestous – everyone sleeping with everyone else as per the demands of their hormones and the situation and ofcourse the benefits involved. So why specifically pick on Katrina. As it is her career is ending in a few years. Migh as well let her retire gracefully. As for Kangana Whoa! What a lady.
