The blind item below looked like it was written about this rising male star, so naturally we thought it was about this young actor, who has been featured in so many blind items lately. But since it’s about a female actor, the tide has turned.
Seriously, though…Is it wrong that she speaks this way? She was, after all, educated abroad so we are guessing her choice of expletives can go from Hindi to Marathi to Urdu to English.
When dad is a wannabe-English and mum is gangsta-Punjabi, it’s unavoidable for her not to be this way. So she gets the best of both worlds: swear like a sailor and a truck driver’s mouth/tongue. The latter was actually said by Ashton Kutcher when he described Natalie Portman.
These days, it’s hard to find someone who doesn’t use expletives in their language, especially when they get angry.
Anyways, as long as she is not going around randomly getting angry and hurling expletives at others, it’s fine. She’s smart enough not to do this in public.
Check out the blind item from Mumbai Mirror.
Bollywood Blind Item
THIS fiery, rapidly emerging star, who is known to be way too street-smart for her age, has earned the dubious reputation of being seriously profane. Though she projects herself as cool, urbane and educated, she’s actually a pro at hurling the choicest of expletives at people around her. Sadly, filthy tongue is never personable.
OSOP Guess
Star: Sara Ali Khan
Recollecting her first day in the university, Sara said: “It was nice. I was going to college and mom had come to drop me and abba was also there. Actually my father and I were having dinner and then we decided to call mum there. Then she came and we had a good time. And then they set me up in college together, I remember. And it was actually quite a sight because you were seeing, Amrita Singh. And for those of you who know her, it’s a funny sight. Like she’s making my bed! And Saif Ali Khan is putting the bulb in the lamp. And it was really very nice and I cherish that!”
Seems like a planted blind item by KebabJo gang
Old news, which bollywood guy doesn’t abuse..sanjay dutt, salman, RK..etc. Girls will learn the same.
But Sara gets it from her mother…it’s ingrained in her upbringing so for her using hindi cuss words is normal..and not that she hides it.
Amrita maybe a good mother but is very cheap and crass and she was always like this since 80s. Amrita and jaggu dada ..best buds when in conversation, people will need ear plugs lol. KWK said the same on jacky’s episode. Rohit Shetty said the same about Sara on Kapil show, poor guy is descent and got a heart attack on hearing lengthy cuss words.
So, that’s the source of Sara’s pleasant dictionary…won’t be surprised if Ibrahim shares that too. Kareena calls Sara classy coz she has to due to saifu, anyway no one knows she uses roadside language in daily life.
Chill. Let Actors be. Clap when they give a hit, hoot otherwise..don’t micro-control their lives. I may not agree with someone using C word in every sentence but no one is a preacher here.
Why is this made out to be such a big deal? A lot of women around me swear. B schools, corporates – it’s become common. A lot of times nobody even means it. I am not commenting on whether it’s right or wrong, just that it happens. And being gender specific about it, why does that have to be a problem?
Frankly, I don’t care if she swears or not. Education hardly has anything to do with it if you swear in English 😀 😀 But why do I feel that its another blind item by a particular “Stain” gang where they want to pull this “educated” girl down? Why don’t we see a single blind item about her contemporary Dhadak girl. It reminds me of many similar blind items of yesteryears where Ranveer was labelled as a “Chichora wanna be” and Raymond was projected as “the most Angelic Human being” ever walked on this planet earth.
I am not so surprised by her using expletives. I just dont like the fact that shes being marketed as genine, intelligent , witty, endearing, where her personality is 100% manufactured.Jhanvi for all her surgeries is more real
It is very disheartening to find a highly educated person using expletives. Let’s hope some sense prevails and does not loose good vibes that she has generated around her so far; due to her looks, surname and potential replacement for aloo.
Wow what double standards all the bloody male actors openly swear right left and centre and it becomes an issue ‘coz it is a girl! On a related note: it peeves me no end that most expletives in all languages are about insulting a woman, her morals, her private parts… Can we at least as women stop using those words that are derogatory to womenkind like the c word in English and Hindi, like bahen.., ma..
Amrita Singh (who i absolutely love) ki beti hai..expected hai! n its fine!
