Sure, the South filmmaker has had huge successes in the past and his upcoming film might just be another mega-blockbuster, but this actress would have never chosen this South filmmaker over this acclaimed Hindi film director. Never!
There were just rumours floating around that she was being considered for this acclaimed filmmaker’s next, but no one ever confirmed anything – at least from his side. So what must have happened is that, this actress and her mentor found out that the filmmaker is not considering her so they quickly opted for another film that is definitely going to create headlines and be a huge hit at the box office.
Obviously, the mentor has the upper hand in her being in the South film. He did, after all, present the South filmmaker’s previous big hit. The movie was a super hit, but we doubt he had anything to do with that.
But he did use this to his advantage and get his daughter in this film. What is she going to do in this film, by the way? There are already big South stars in it. What? She will have a 10-minute role, do a jiggy here and there or is she playing their daughter?
Did you hear about the news in the U.S. right now where the authorities arrested these famous people for donating huge fees to top colleges so that their kids get guaranteed admissions?

THE young actress has been in a fix for the past few months. While we can hardly comment on her choice of paramour, this time her confoundment was purely professional.
The busy lady, with barely any dates on hand, had to take a tough call between one of Bollywood’s leading filmmakers and one of southern cinema’s leading directors.

The role had almost gone to Keerthy Suresh…most South publications were reporting that she was the chosen one. Suddenly Alia is in. KJo must have really convinced Rajamouli. At the same time, Rajamouli is no fool to cast someone he has no faith in. Maybe her role is small. In a press conf, he mentioned her entry changes the entire narrative of the story. So maybe he thought her fit for that role, Feel bad for Keerthy….she was amazing in Mahanati. Got to say…Alia is one lucky girl. She must have some fantastic past life karma! But wait and watch, unlike the joke that was Kalank…RRR will be different. Alia will be portrayed beautifully and he is Rajamouli after all! Have faith in him peeps.

Well, he had no problem with DP. She’s pretty but also pretty much devoid of ada. I remember him saying in an old interview (I think Ash was present) that he’d always pick lookers over actors.

i read somewhere a rumor he was planning a movie on heera mandi with deepi and pc in the lead and cameos by past slb divas – mads, ash, rani etc. i would LOVE for that to happen…sounds way more exciting than a love story with salman :/
And it’s exactly those songs which made me come to that conclusion. A Madhuri in maar daala (or literally any song of Devdas) decimates DP in all those songs. But obviously, it is a personal opinion. As someone who’s been dancing since the past 20 years, absolutely no one in my circle of dancer friends thinks she’s got it. Her idea of adaa is not moving her mouth at all while lip syncing.
(Obviously, choices differ for everyone and I respect that, too.)
@Lucy, even if Kalank works, it wont be attributed to alia’s beauty, it may just be the storyline..and no indication of her as being liked as a beauty..I saw the song , she looks like shes trying too hard to match the grace and poise of madhuri
RRR is about two well known Freedom fighters from the South. Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. Both were tribal leaders, coming from forest dwelling communities. In Komaram Bheem’s case, his wife, herself a tribal, fought with him.
Are you telling me Alia is playing the lead in this movie? Seriously? Even for such a movie, we can’t find any beautiful, ethnically southern looking brown beauties? Shame on these filmmakers!

well.. Tamanna was such a misfit in BB. Her action sequence was weakest in the movie, and worst acting.. plus she didnt even manage to look pretty compared to much older Ramya Krishnan and Shetty gal.
forgot to add that Tamanna’s only USP was being lighter than the cast
I have lost respect for Rajamouli. Creatively, he could have given the opportunity to so many girls who could have had a chance to highlight their acting skills even in a 10 minute cameo. I guess you have to sell your soul to be part of this industry. As for Alia, way to make hay girl!! Jab tak Kjo ka chhatra chhaya rahega, Alia will be the heroine shoved down our throats (gagging).

Karan always has wanted to be kingmaker like yash chopra.he was close to srk but it’s yrf which made srk.karan only used srk popularity to make huge hits.he tried with Kajol and kareena,but both were not ambitious and ruthless enough.they were woman who would leave everything for the men they loved,even career.with alia he has hit jackpot,she agrees for all the pr games and manipulation.it was evident with arjun varun ranbir Sid shahid srk linkup.she will go to any lengths for success.even if it means marrying kapoor.
With alia he has that perception,that everyone wants to be his puppet so that he makes their career like alia.and he has a group of future superstars.ranbir,ranveer,varun,rajkumar,ayushman,Vicky,alia,Sara,jhanvi,Tara,manushi.and all the starkids.outsiders with potential like kriti,kiara,Kartik aryan want to join his group.the entire young brigade is with him now,time will tell whether they are as loyal as alia or will use karan for films and then dump him.but as of now it seems like he is the only kingmaker for the younger lot.nadiadwala ang Bhusan kumar have shown potential but they don’t seem as driven as karan to be kingmaker.yrf has lost the touch,their only success case is ranveer.

As soon as it was announced that Alia is part of Rajamouli film, I was sure its KJo. He was associated with Bahubali and even got them on KWK. Role will be minor for Alia but KJo and her PR will publicize this as her going in big league and competing with DP, PC etc.

Lol I don’t understand why every one’s bragging about alia being a part of ” RRR”. The movie is based on two major freedom fighters . The story is all about them. Even ajay Devgan is doing a cameo in it. Alia at most will have a 10 mins cameo. And media is hyping it as if alias having a major role lol. This is def a kjo/ reshma shetty planted blind.
