Irrfan Khan passed away today at the age of 53. In a career that spanned over 30 years, Irrfan has worked with a lot of actors from different eras. Other than working in Hindi films, the late legend also worked in a Telugu film, English films as well as a joint Bangladesh-India venture.
Irrfan passed away in Mumbai today and upon hearing the news, many of his industry colleagues sent out their condolences and tributes to him. Some have worked with him, others have admired him while the rest were paying their respect.
It’s nice when actors share just a message or the person’s picture when paying tribute to him. Sharing his or her picture with you just makes it tacky, it’s not about you it’s about that person you are paying tribute to. Anyways, stars always do this even if they are sending a message of “get well soon” or something so it’s nothing new.
Surprisingly, Sonam had the most personal message as she worked together with him at the beginning of her career. Irrfan and her dad also worked together in ‘Slumdog Millionaire’.
