ABC has decided to cancel ‘Bunheads’ and ‘The Lying Game’ after months of speculation. I loved ‘Bunheads’, really love the comic timing and the lead performances of the show. But I guess, the show didn’t really have a strong following or else, it would have still been on. It’s funny because ‘Bunheads’ is a critically acclaimed show, the critics love it! It’s sad, really. But on the whole, I got to discover the world of ballet and the talent of Sutton Foster. This was the latest decision taken by ABC, the show’s network.
Also affected by this decision is none other than ‘The Lying Game’, a show mainly aimed for teenagers. I did watch it, but it got out of track in its latest episodes. I wish there was some rules that made shows like ‘The Lying Game’ end their story after two seasons. Otherwise, the show just keeps dragging and dragging and people loose interest!
