It comes to no surprise to anyone that Farhan Akhtar and Adhuna Akhtar are separating! For months, gossip sites (including ours) have been releasing this news through blind items. So as from today, we expect no blind items on this couple separating. After 16 years of marriage, Farhan Akhtar and Adhuna Akhtar have decided to separate. To announce this news, they have released a joint official statement that can be read below in case single girls want to confirm before chasing Farhan! We don’t know for sure what is the reason behind this separation, but we are sure it came more from Farhan himself than of Adhuna. Adhuna is still holding the same job as she did when she met Farhan, except she now has several saloons. What we are trying to say is Adhuna was already successful when Farhan was scripting ‘Dil Chahta Hai’. Meanwhile, Farhan gained instant fame when people loved ‘Dil Chahta Hai’. Then a couple of years later, he decided to make his acting debut as well as his singing debut in ‘Rock On’. Since his debut, he has only directed once and that too for ‘Don 2’. Shah Rukh Khan is still waiting for him to script ‘Don 3’, which we doubt would happen now or in the future. Farhan and Adhuna have two daughters, Shakya and Akira.
