In an attempt to make men respect women, Farhan Akhtar has launched the MARD campaign. MARD means Men Against Rape and Discrimination. In conjunction with the IPL games that are going on right now, Farhan has roped in Shah Rukh Khan and has gotten his support in creating awareness of this campaign at one of KKR’s matches against Preity Zinta’s Kings 11 Punjab at Eden Gardens on the 26th of April. I’m guessing Shah Rukh had to help Farhan as he wants to continue being in the ‘Don’ franchise. That said, I think it’s a really nice touch from Farhan to stand up amongst the stars of Bollywood and try to make a change in India.
