‘Jagga Jasoos’ promotions have already started and we have already been privy to a bunch of priceless statements from Ranbir Kapoor. This promotion will show you the actual talent of its stars, Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor. This whole promotion run will be an eye-opener for all those, who thought Katty can’t act. As for Ranbir, it seems that he has been taking a bit too much of those things he usually take to calm him down. All these rumours of the two of them not promoting the film together seemed too far-fetched now. Or maybe RK had to beg KK since it’s his home production and all eyes are on them. Ranbir even clarified these rumours with this statement:

I think we all have worked very hard in this film. We have given our time, our effort, our heart to it. This is my film, as much Katrina’s and as much dada’s (Anurag Basu). We would like to present it in the best way possible so that it reaches the audience, and they like the promo and the content of the film. It’s not like Katrina and I will do something or we’ll go to a reality show and people will go to the cinema hall due to that. Of course we’ll do all of that, but we’ll make sure that everybody is aware that the film is releasing on July 14. Just like every film, this film also has a plan. We are going to do some activities this month and then July 1 onwards, we’ll really get into the promotions.

The film’s team launched the promo of its first song online. It sort of meant that its stars don’t want to promote the film together. Maybe they were taking some time to convince Katrina to be out there and promote the film with Ranbir. After all, it’s Katrina that pretty much believes how promotion can help a film at the box office. At the second song launch of their film, they were both in attendance in front of the media on stage. Naturally, they became prepared because they know what kinds of questions to expect from journalists. You can actually see how good of an actress Katrina is because she didn’t snapped and just sat there listening to Ranbir slyly praising her. On his part, Ranbir appeared on edge and hyper like he took some sort of muscle relaxer to get through all this. Why in the world will he mention that peeing on the road is too much fun? Did he want to get more fans or lose some?

Has Ranbir not learnt anything in all these years he has been in Bollywood? He should know when to stop it and zip it. Does he think the people are fools to take him seriously? He’s supposed to be a good actor, so at least he can behave like one or maybe, pretend to behave like one (like Aamir Khan does). Speaking of pretending, he is good at faking it during promotions. During any promotions of his films, he makes his co-star appear like she’s the best actress in the world and how much he’s close to her and all that. Then after the movie is released, he pretends he doesn’t know her that well. It’s the same cycle every time and if you know RK well, you know this is exactly what happens. He’s doing the same thing to Katrina now and she knows it. She’s smart enough to know that she has to play along until the film releases. After all, the dude literally ran out of their home while Kat was out of town. This is just the beginning of their promotion schedule, we are sure there will be more priceless comments to come.

Three years ago when Anurag dada narrated the script to me, it touched my heart and we decided to jointly produce it. None of us knew that the film would consume so much time. I think it’s everyone’s mistake and we are to be blamed for the delay. EXPECTEDLY, the Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif joint presser made much noise thanks to Kaif’s former beau showering praise on her for the sake of their upcoming film. But that wasn’t the only ‘faux’ visible to the gazers. Kaif’s new face had everyone in giggles. It seems that the lady’s had some work done, fillers probably, and was looking chubbier that usual.
