Hrithik Roshan has been slowly promoting his upcoming film, ‘Mohenjo Daro’; a title that still sounds not so filmy to us. Anyways, Hrithik has not been seen out often in public having interviews because of the whole Kangana-Hrithik fiasco. He was recently accompanied by Ashutosh Gowariker, the film’s director, for interviews but this interview in which he talked about his co-star Pooja Hegde was sent through a statement. Those, who have seen the trailer, have seen how ordinary Pooja looks and how she does not seem like Bollywood heroine material. Ironically, all of the new actresses Ashutosh introduced did not make it far in the film industry: Gauri Singh and that lady from ‘Swades’ called Gayatri. We think this time through Ashutosh was forced to hire a new heroine as Hrithik was charging like 35 crore for this film, which made the budget go really high. That aside, here’s Hrithik talking about Pooja that was sent out in a statement.

The last time I was paired opposite a debutante was for my own debut film. It feels great to introduce Pooja to the audience with Mohenjo Daro. She is a lovely girl to work with, very talented and hard working. I’m sure a lot of love and warmth will come her way.

I was taken aback by her courage. I have shot with many stars, but when she looked into my eyes the courage and purity in her struck me. She’s a rare talent and will go a long way in this industry I thought in my mind.
