A lot of stars and industry people came out to support Deepika Padukone at the premiere of ‘xXx’ in India. The film’s lead actor, Vin Diesel, was there as well. Deepika’s boyfriend (as called by Vin), Ranveer Singh, was there as well. This might just put to rest all the breakup rumours surrounding them.
Deepika and Ranveer both attended the premiere of Irrfan Khan’s film, last year and Irrfan returned the favour by attending Deepu’s film with his family. Also spotted there was Deepika’s current co-star in ‘Padmavati’, Shahid Kapoor, who came alone because he probably made Mira Kapoor stay at home with their baby.
It’s nice of all these guys to support Deepika, but where was Shah Rukh Khan? Deepika is always there when he calls her, so why he didn’t bother to come in or at least, show his face? He did tweet out something, though. You know KJo was there so that he can get some gossip.
But it’s quite touching how all of Deepu’s co-stars were there, including Diana Penty. Her male co-stars no-show was quite something though. Who cares, really? All that talk of feminism is only for show.
