Kangana Ranaut blasts Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt

Kangana Ranaut has made it her duty to traumatise every Bollywood star and Karan Johar with her comments. To be fair, she did say that she will get them or something like that.

Kangana Ranaut blasts Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt

We bet the media is just loving it. Kangana is every journalist’s dream because she helps them get that headline. At a time when most stars are diplomatic or too nice, Kangana’s laser tongue is still very much intact and going at full speed attacking everyone that pissed her off at some point in her career.

In today’s episode, Kangana takes on Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.

Here’s how this whole thing started:

    First thing, though.

Did Ranbir Kapoor actually say that? Did these words come out of his mouth?

In a 2018 interview, Ranbir was asked why he shied away from making political statements. The actor replied that he doesn’t follow politics as it makes no difference to his life. He added that as he lives in a luxurious life and has complete access to basic needs like water, and electricity, he was fairly satisfied.

Since many reputable sites are quoting the original interview, it means he did really say that. Honestly, it’s quite irresponsible of him to say this. He acts so well off screen, he could have faked it and pretended to be in an Akshay Kumar film.

Found it, he does say it. To his defense, back then, he had no idea Kebab Jo would pack him up in a private plane to go meet the PM.

As a citizen, if you are paying your taxes, you should be concerned with what your country is doing with that tax money.

In India, stars have more power as they get a huge platform to speak on. They can definitely make more people stand up and take notice of the serious issues affecting the country. Make life better for the less fortunate, especially if these are the same people who are contributing to your luxurious life.

But then, most celebs won’t do it. Because the political bunch can get quite nasty in return. If celebs are not talking about politics, it’s quite possible that they are scared to do so. Or, they just don’t care!

Kangana also addresses this issue and said:

If talking about politics can hamper my career then let it be. I also have regular supply of water and electricity at my home but that doesn’t mean that I will not talk about other issues. This has to change and the media should change that.

Then Kangana went on to take Ranveer and Alia’s words on politics from an interview session with Anupama Chopra.

“I was watching Ranveer and Alia’s interview where they said, ‘Why should we speak about politics? We haven’t done anything.’ It doesn’t work like that. You have to be responsible.

First of all, what do Ranveer and Alia mean when they say they haven’t done anything? Were they being arrested or something?

Speaking of which, Ranveer was landing karate kicks on random people right before this interview, so yes he did do something!

You know how awkward it is Kangana had time to watch this interview, but we haven’t yet.

How does Kangana manage to bring in the other stars in her conversation? It is like that English exercise we did in school where you are given a bunch of words and you have to connect them in a sentence. It’s like Kangana does that whenever she gives an interview. It must have been: Politics – Social Issues – Ranbir – Ranveer – Alia – Interview.

Usually, some people when they are pissed off at a particular person, they will keep bringing up that person randomly in conversations attacking them. You might have come across this type of people, we know we have.

So what did these people do to her that she randomly has to attack them in interviews? She has been so fearlessly doing that for quite some time now. There definitely must be a reason…She is not that mad to do this out of the blue. If she was crazy, ‘Manikarnika’ would not have happened!

At this point, she is definitely going to take them down.

We just wonder how will they retaliate? They are already doing the fake news thing, blind items and fake videos, what more do they have in store? They are being publicly humiliated and there’s no way they will keep quiet.

Let’s all just wait and watch. This will be interesting. Get your popcorn ready!

Naturally, the media jumped on her statement and asked John Abraham today at his trailer launch.

Unfortunately, they didn’t get a chance to actually ask Ranbir and Alia at the launch of their upcoming film. Maybe it will happen soon since they are supposed to be launching more stuff from their film.

    1. Im listening to John after like ages… didnt see even his Satyamev Jayate n Parmanu!! but WOW!! SOOOO much sense he makes; n such a STRONG personality he has built over time! We used to call him expressionless earlier!!

PS: he did NOT say tht Kangana should shut up! He said Kangana is politically very aware n thats why fine fr her to have opinions!

    2. I noticed lack of chemistry of two people dating and madly in love. First Alia has no aura, and her tiny frame, she can only manages cute. But, any one notice why RK clean shaven with glasses looks like yoko Ono What is with that? Last if their film ,was about action film,,RK did not looked Macho, in these pics !,sorry, not very excited for this film,,just low level success ,may be !,

      1. Same here. Not at all excited for the movie. Their lukewarm relationship was over-sold and just seeing the two together is so boring. Did you watch the clip where RK jokingly says he’d leave her at the Kumbh Mela…LOL! Looks like he’s had it with all the drama.

    3. One as i always say, country would be much better than these b’wood fake greedy under educated celebrities, same for politicians and big businessmen. All of us just need to take/use what we require and become minimalists and everyone will have enough food, shelter and clothes.

Two KR is fine, she is emotionally charged person and from what i have seen she does come across as a slightly less greedy person than DP, Alia, KJo etc who dont want to give throne to anyone else. But that also means RW’s fake nationalism appeal to her. People like Javed Akhtar have more sane center aligned views Most of BW sane people are center aligned , obv they dont want country like situation where RW overcharged trolls abuse you left and right.

Three yes these guys are given platform to speak, they should use it wisely. They can play good role models without being too obv with their political alignment.

    4. Guess admin forgot to mention about that her movie is releasing in Pakistan and how she fumbled giving the answer. To being political and hypocritical you have to get it from KR. It was clearly asked to her why she was releasing the movie in Pakistan due to current tensions and she was blabbering that since the digital copy was already in Pak she couldnt do anything. Wow. If you are so concerned and want to put your opinion in everything KR then you should have immediately blocked the release at whatever cost isnt it? Fake thats all.

      1. Why is that an issue? Kangana is not that powerful that she can call these people and ask for the DC back. That’s not how it works. We know how things go. Once the distributor in Pakistan purchased the Digital Copy and they received it, an actress [who might or might not be the director of the film] does not have the power to take that roll back. A deal was made before the film started shooting and it was already paid for, they cannot just simply ask for the roll back.

When the distributor gets the DC, it is then sent to that country’s censor department before being released in theatres. That’s how it works. All this transaction happened before the fire was reignited between India and Pakistan.

That’s how DC transactions usually happen. It’s not bought by the country’s censor dpt, it is bought by distributors who then sell it to theatre owners. Recently in the case of Padmaavat, some distributors lost money because the censor refused to pass the film. This happened in about 2 countries. The same with Sonam’s last film.

Maybe Kangana shouldn’t have uttered big words in the heat of the moment, that’s how it got back to her.

        1. But Admin, if you saw the full video clearly and not just her taking digs at other celebs, you would have seen the journalist asking “Why you released your movie even after URI attacks”.

Also her team immediately denied asking that question and she looked whipped as well for a second. Journalist replied back bravely, let her answer or reject, round of applause for that journalist’s courage.

The copies hadn’t reached Pakistan then. Plus she had started dissing Pakistani artists saying they’re earning money from here and paying tax there way before that. In that sense trying to earn revenue for her film from there, is also wrong.

Again it’s no big deal. But since she finds so much fun in pointing fingers, she should remember the other four fingers are pointing back at her.

She’s a hypocrite and so is any other bollywood celeb. Her pointing fingers at others and acting holier than thou doesn’t make her any different.

      2. Is Kangana the producer of the film? Maybe, she voiced her opinion on same; but was shut down by Zee n producers of Manikarnika?? Possible, no?

      3. @Admin, thanks for your reply. Well exactly the point i was trying to make that KR shouldnt have uttered big words or pointed fingers at others knowing that it might come back to hurt it. Whether she is producer or not but she is the face of the movie. So if she is going after other celebs due to politics then its fair that she has to receive too.

      4. Tbh she is right – on all three counts Ranbir, RS and Alia spoke utter nonsense. Complete garbage (listen to it yourself, admin has posted the links). I personally don’t like her nationalism but still believe she is misguided in her passion not understanding the diff between patriotism and nationalism. She will though. Already she is talking about malnourishment and depletion of natioanal reserves rather than standing for the national anthem debate. I live in hope. Lol

        1. She’s pro Modi. But still way more sensible than many bhakts. So there’s hope. The problem is that there just aren’t good alternatives in India. If I were to vote, I’d be unhesitatingly voting NOTA. It’s that bad. All nutcases.

    5. Admin, how can you promote Kangana’s self-destructive behaviour? If you really liked Kangana, you would be worried seeing where she is heading. Nothing will change in Bollywood. She cannot bring anyone down. Nobody can bring anyone down. We are responsible for our own downfall.

And actors should stay away from making political statement. Political and religious opinions should be kept private. Otherwise we will all turn fanatics.

I don’t think if anyone has noticed, nobody is even reacting to Kangana’s attacks anymore— when I say nobody, I am talking about people she has attacked. Silence treatment is the best treatment

      1. She thinks she is making a difference, let her be. She is strong enough to handle all of this and she seems to know what she is doing. Who are we to block her way?

    6. It is perfectly fine to be apolitical. I’m not well off like any of the stars (or the regular well off either) but have been mostly apolitical. In India (maybe elsewhere, too) it is difficult to be political w/o being partisinal. And it really drains you. Bhakts on the one hand and liberandus on other. (I’d mostly fall under liberal, but I specifically talk about the liberandus.) Imagine being in their position w/ an insta, twitter, etc. Anything the mango people don’t like they’ll be hit with such vile commentary on everything except the issue at hand. Best to be apolitical or private about your politics. Kangana might feel brave cuz she bows to the Emperor like #Legends Virushka. As long as they aren’t actively advocating for destruction of neighbouring countries (:p), it is okay. I think we are all a lot less dumber if Bollywood keeps quiet about politics. Cuz judging by Twitter it’s nothing other than platitudes and regurgitated truisms.

      1. @Mila I completely agree. its easy for Kangana to be “political” when all she means by that is fangirling over the current establishment and its leader. Its not like she is having nuanced debates on farmer suicides or demonetisation.

And it takes a strong stomach to voice criticism these days …a friend of mine works as a journalist at a major indian newspaper and she is regularly trolled and threatened on social media it really shocks me to see the kind of abuse she gets for just doing her job. I wouldnt be able to take it…

        1. I’ve had a Twitter account for many years now. (I follow history or art handles mostly cuz I’m not refined enough to do it seriously.) But in the past 6-7 years I haven’t even been on Twitter for a grand total of 1 month. And even in such a short span of time I was met with so many vile people. And I’m a nobody. Literally, cuz I use a pseudonym there (out of fear and to circumvent bg check by employers.) Imagine constantly being at the receiving end of it w/ your face and real name known to everyone. It is the 7th circle of digital Hell.

      2. I believe it’s not Ranbirs non interest in politics but the way he said it that’s giving steam to kangana accusation.even I thought why is kangana suddenly bringing him up,then I saw the video.its him saying I don’t have electricity water problems I am privileged so I don’t care about politics.reeks of entitlement.he could say he doesn’t want to comment or wants to keep his political thoughts private.

The ranveer Alia thing was similar, they used kanhaiya Kumar’s azadi in a song in their movie.anupama merely asked few questions on it.the way Alia reacted was funny, like she almost got scared and then says something like better to be dumb 😂.it’s like they aren’t Involved in the matters of the country, but don’t care about what they are endorsing or using in their films.as long as it gets money and appreciation.i feel celebrities are targetted so viciously because for some issues they take Stand and their PR potraysthem as a role model or something for fighting an entire establishment.then they go quite when a matter comes up that doesn’t concern them.to me looks like hypocrisy.

        1. That is true. All these nepokids, without exception, reek of entitlement. But I’ll still say that Ranveer and Alia would be in a soup if they’d say anything supportive about Kanhaiya. The film version of the song doesn’t have a lot of his naaraas. About sanghvad, brahmanvad, samantvad, etc. The song itself is no longer Kanhaiya’s anthem but heavily infantilised with the video showing childish eDgY graffiti. (Haven’t seen the movie, so dunno the actual context.) If anything it should have been a question for Zoya and the writers for co-opting something so specific and then erasing any reference to it. (Again, I dunno if it was.) Or it may be a veiled homage to the leftist Bollywood of yore of which Ms. Shabana Azmi and Mr. Javed Akhtar (I’m hazy on this one) were a part of.

        2. @lucy that I agree with. ranbir i think was being honest, i dont see him as remotely interested in anything outside his bubble… but the Anupama interview gave me second hand embarrassment because ranveer generally comes across as more clued in.

Ok i get it there is an effort to portray kanhaiya kumar as anti-national and now police cases have been filed against him (3 years after the fact, and very conveniently just as he was about to contest elections…) but most of his speech made a lot of sense to me. irrespective whether you are left wing, right wing, centre wing surely you should be able to say without a doubt that caste violence and casteism is wrong? unless as lucy said they had no idea about the original context in 2016. but surely anupama would have given them a headsup she was going to ask them, all bollywood interviews seem so scripted these days…

i still remember this original video ….:)
          https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TCRHm1pmzCI

@Mila it doesnt jar as much in the movie because it becomes about RS striving to improve his rap skills as a way of gaining azadi from poverty … the film does a good job of tackling the lack of social mobility though it leaves aside more contentious issues like casteism and communalism.

          1. I personally believe everyone above the age of 18 should have a basic idea of the political situation in the country,at least in their respective states.if someone is not aware of what each party is doing who are they gonna vote? That’s the only way common man gets to decide, although unfortunately we all have to choose the least bad among the worst kind.but again that’s my personal opinion,it is not necessary for everyone to be actively interested in politics but I am talking from the perspective of a middle class person.everywhere people around you discuss politics, parents grandparents, colleagues friends.it doesn’t seem normal to me to not be aware of what’s happening.and this kanhaiya Kumar episode was big.although I don’t live in India I like to Google and just gather as much as I can.thats normal to me,so maybe that’s why I came across as judmental.as to how people with so much access to information can be so ignorant.

With respect to kanhaiya Kumar he is an idealogist with a thinking mind.which I admire, but his mistake was getting unintentionally involved with people who literally committed sedition on camera.

      3. i think they didnt realise that it was kanhaiya kumars slogan and all,it was used for the song.these guys only used the whole song as it is,but later realised it could attract controversy and hence in the film it wasnt there. But in the music album it was there.

what i find funny is they don’t even have guts to say that they used the song, but it necessarily doesn’t mean that they are supporting that jnu ideology.its like they dont want to even voice their thought and opinion on simple matters, whats the use of the fame and power if you have dumb down your mind.then they go all out choosing one cause and giving gyan to the general public about what they should do.

      4. @lucy The version of the slogan in Azadi does not mention casteism, patriarchy and Brahminical oppression which were originally in Kanahaiya’s slogan. They watered it down to only talk about azaadi from poverty, discrimination, politics which were relevant issues for the film. So his slogan was not used as it is in the song.

    7. believing in democracy means also you have the choice to voice an opinion or not .actually i don’t understand why she brought up ranbir alia and ranveer.i know that ranveer singh has been vocal for exemple he spoke about section 377 way before the supreme court verdict and few days ago about pakistan india problem and even the ban on pakistani artists and when it comes to azadi even the producer and director didn’t want to give a clear response about it ( your film release will be at stake especially that money and poeple are associated to it) so i can understand alia and ranveer response.by the way i believe celebrities talking about politics will not necessarily make a difference they are just used as publicity pawns!there is always an agenda behind politics and celebrities should not be part of it .
ps- i don’t need a celebrity to form an opinion about politics i rather listen to political scientists

    8. I love her to bits but even I don’t know what’s going on. Is she attacking them to get KJo to come out of his den? Is she pissed with Ranbir? Alia’s mom and step sister were tweeting and agreeing with Apurva before the film release, is that why? I am trying to figure it out. Why Alia and Ranbir, particularly.

Bollywood Hungama started their Kangana ‘lashing out, slammed’ etc. caption articles but no one cares it’s as if she taken those labels 🏷 and post them on her forehead. So how they going to beat a girl that doesn’t care about her public image?

Anyways Admin do a post on Alia, Ranbir & Ayan’s Brahmastra event. Random logo launch and they kept posting video clips of journey to event 😂🤣😂🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️. Was strange, suddenly this morning they decided this event and it wasn’t even anything substantial.

      1. It also could be envy. All said and done Alia does have Karan Johar getting her the best projects left right and center. Plus She is dating RK. It’s beuond my comprehension but every single girl in Bollywood wants to date him or marry him. I don’t get the appeal. Alia belongs to the elite snob club and even outsiders like Ayushman suck up to her and KJo because it’s a power thing. Kangana who is supremely talented and 3 times national award winner has to still fight tooth and nail. I personally feel she is so talented and ahead of the game she should chill out and stop attacking people.

      2. Why did they have a logo launch event and first look almost ten months before the actual release? And that too out of the blue. There was no rumour or news about the event and bam it happened all of a sudden. Is kjo afraid that the movie might bomb so starting the promotion as early as possible to create buzz? Maybe he is still not that convinced of Ranbir’s star power and box office pull? Varun fans are super pissed because instead of creating buzz for Kalank (slated to release in April), kjo is promoting and hyping a movie that is going to release in December.

        1. @monalisa is it just me or does ranbir look annoyed in these insta videos. he’s quite rude/condescending to alia isnt he i thought i heard him say something really weird like she’s too in love with herself to take good pictures?! i mean whats up with that i dont get it…if they are planning a trilogy surely they all need to make an effort to sell the pairing…

          1. He’s the same with her as he was with Kat. ( Inside sources) They had apparently broken up for a little while but then reconciled. I think Ranbir is one of those spoilt boys who thinks he’s the center of the world. (He’s also chill to work with and nice with people.) But in case of GFs. I think he expects them to cuddle him like his Mama. Kat wasn’t okay. But Alia is more submissive. Probably cuz she’s yoing.

          2. True. But I feel Rk was same way with Kat too. Was he same with Deepika too? Haven’t seen their videos back then.

      3. Yes even I noticed RK’s distant behavior towards Alia. Its looks like he is forced to be with her for his career. In one of the videos he jokes about leaving her in Kumbh Mela. Alia on her part acts like a 12 year old. Was it Varun who mocked Alia for pretending to act like a teenager. She is very annoying. It is beyond me when people like SRK praise her to the sky and back. Does he want to act opposite her or is he being nice to her because his daughter also is going to be a nepo star kid? The way this is headed if Brahmastra becomes a blockbuster then RK is going to be back in the game and dump Alia. He is waiting for one big blockbuster. He is not going to marry her.

      4. @london I was not surprised at all when I saw the videos. The rumours have always been that he is pretty condescending and mean to his gfs. And Alia was acting extra cute and he was like please stop being annoying. People would have found the banter cute if not for the video of him yelling at her in the car after Gully Boy screening. He is always nice and charmimg at the begining of every relationship but with Alia he is like this from the begining it seems.

Even at the Ambani pre wedding bash Kjo in his speech said to Alia that you never know with Ranbir because he might runaway woh kabhi bhi haat se jaa sakta hai. Wtf!

      5. but at least during past movie promos he came across as engaged and excited …with deepika, with katrina (barring jagga), even with anushka during adhm. now its like he’s making a point that its beneath his dignity to acknowledge alia’s existence…first that pic of him checking his phone, then the video of him scolding her in the car, now these snide digs… i almost feel like calling up the NSPCC … National Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Children for the unversed 🙂

      6. He genuinely seemed irritated and fed-up with her tbh that he can’t even pretend..

As @anon said I feel he will ditch her the minute Brahmastra becomes a big blockbuster and he is considered bankable again. Kjo can control him now but I don’t think he will let kjo have his way the minute his career gets back on track. No one is buying their offscreen love story to begin with and most sequels in hit franchises become big hits by default (like the Doom, Golmaal franchise) so the other two parts of the trilogy is set if the first one clicks with the audience. Kjo can’t throw him out of his own franchise.

      7. Alia is at the top of the game ranbir is not about to leave her any time soon also alia has set the bar at emotional infidelity ranbir is free to paint the down town red as long as he sticks publicly with her isnt isnt the same arrangement that industry insiders like kajol and twinkle entered.

alia kjo’s master stoke with ranbir is making them too too public which is something ranbir avoided with all his exes it allows him to control the narrative this time its alia and kjo who control the narative he can continue to sulk all he wants too ayan kjo alia will ensure he sticks around the trilogy end

from this point on you will see them break up/ be on off again and gain news till trilogy ends. he allowed to paint the town red, sulk all he wants but he coming back to alia courtesy alia/kjo/ayan/neetu. you will see kjo use alia ranbir to go head on with dp/rs

      8. *isnt this the same arrangement that industry insiders like kajol and twinkle have with ajay and aksahy. Also mahesh bhatt isnt exactly a clean chit man when it come to painting the town red

      9. He was so much more touchy-feely with Deepika in that Maneesh Malhotra fashion show… If he was faking it, it was more convincing. Like he actually wanted to be there… with Alia he is always 2 steps behind her, hardly ever touching.. I just hope she doesn’t marry him. What a nightmare that would be.

      10. @Ananya I haven’t actually watched any early rankat promos i used to watch rkdp ones once upon a time and they used to be playful flirty. during tamasha i thought ranbir was a little in awe of her cos she’d just had a string of blockbusters and he was in his bombay velvet phase. there were a couple of fun interviews with imtiaz.
        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xCkBR2uzI_g

i mean i guess the proper brahmastra promos havent begun, maybe they’ll perk up later but at this point i was surprised at how awkward it felt given ayan is supposed to be best buds with both of them and ranbir/alia are supposed to be on the verge of getting married.
