‘Katti Batti’ came and went without much people giving a care to watch it. Those, who did though, mostly hated how long and dragged it was. During the promotions of this film, its lead actress Kangana Ranaut gave interviews with eye-grabbing headlines and for this interview, she did the same thing. So far, she still thinks that people are out to get her as she’s the highest paid actress and her movies are doing well. She thinks she has become the easiest target for people to make gossips about her and all that. It is a bit hard to believe considering that no one has been known to be publicly obsessed with her. But then again, who knows? This is Bollywood!

Well, the thing is that I have only received some sort of opposition, which is not from all people, but only from people who are hurting from this sort of progress I have made. I don’t think people are not happy for me. I feel the ones who are “affected” by my success – only they are not happy. Well, it is natural to understand why they are not happy. They will have to be numb or zombie or dead to NOT be affected. It is a normal reaction and I am happy that they are giving normal reactions. But apart from that, people are very proud of me. They are very happy for me and I feel a lot of positivity. I feel people want to see me progress and grow even more.”

Yes, (there are) extreme changes. People, who would look through me earlier, are very tame and nice now. I guess that’s why people want to be successful, because you want life to be easier. But I have become a soft target for those who are a bit vicious, vindictive, and have a negative attitude in life… people who love to target others. They find their thrill from running people down. I need to get a place, where I feel comfortable, and not be an easy target for others. As a woman, I have been secure; I do my thing and don’t indulge in gossip. And I can say it proudly, because no one can point a finger at me for gossiping, flirting and having multiple affairs. My life is an open book.
Kangana Ranaut on Competition in Bollywood
This kind of vicious trap ” using bad PR, b****ing and attacking films you are doing ” that people lay for you is something I never anticipated. I don’t think I am ready for this kind of cut-throat competition. So far, I have only indulged in healthy competition. I won’t be part of such ugly competition. Though people are dragging me into it, I am going to hold my ground. I won’t stoop to such a level.
Kangana Ranaut on asking for 11 crore pay cheque
If I am demanding a certain amount today, I feel people should be proud of me since I literally came from nowhere. Also, I am probably the only top’ actress to have been a part of B-grade films. So, there are people who are proud of me, but there are also a few contemporaries who are venomous and negative.
Kangana Ranaut on industry people ganging up on her
I have been around for 10 years, and I have been happy for everyone and their success. I drew inspiration from them. But now, why does it seem like they are ganging up against me. I fail to understand this. People are using their resources and time to malign me, and are planting damaging stories (about me in the media). Not just that, they are going to the extent of messaging directors and producers of my projects, which are about to go on the floors, and offering to work (for them) for free. I am speechless. This kind of attitude is unhealthy.
Such arrogance! But why does Kangana want everyone to be affected by her progress? 2 of her films did well at the box office, so what? Even brainless comedies do well sometimes. Queen & TWMR didn’t deserve that much praise. Kangana is very overrated and these were both barely even a one-time watch.
Here’s a fact; 5 of Kangana’s last 7 movies tanked miserably at the box office (Rajjo, Revolver Rani, Ungli, I Love New Year & Katti Batti) – not to mention her forgettable performances in Tezz, Rascals & Game. Whereas, Deepika is 8/8 successes at the box office, so why would DP be jealous of her? Who mislead Kangana to think she was in the same league as Deepika & Priyanka anyway? She’s so obnoxious & needs to just shut up. Every statement she makes just reinforces how idiotic she truly is. I’m beginning to question her mental stability. She sounds CRAZY.
ur either delusional or a schizophrenic kangana. You do all the bad things you’ve talked about and then say that others do it to you . All other actresses are friendly cordial n polite to each other, ur the only fi_th who opens her mouth and out comes dirt.
