As soon as news broke that Kesha lost her case against her music producer, Dr Luke, celebrities have been tweeting their suport for the singer. It was in 2014 that Kesha filed a lawsuit against Dr Luke. It’s also because of this case that she hasn’t been able to make any new music in the last two years. She thought that she would win this case and go on to make music with other music producers, but faith had something else in store for her. Now you may ask why is this such a bad thing? Well, the whole reason for Kesha to file a case against the man, who introduced her to the world is because he abused her when she was 18. It’s not just any abuse, it’s Bill Cosby type of abuse. Dr Luke gave Kesha drugs and alcolohol and then went on to sexually assault her. Kesha also claimed that while Dr Luke promised her a great music career, he also bullied her and caused her to get high blood pressure. All this behaviour from Dr Luke caused Kesha to check herself into rehab and attend therapy to seek help.
The female judge dismissed Kesha’s allegations against Dr Luke by saying that Kesha’s team didn’t provide any evidence of the assault that supposedly took place. Kesha also accused Sony Music of allowing this behaviour from Dr Luke to a lot of young female singers. Now if you all are not aware, Sony Music is part of the Illuminati. A lot of people are saying how Kesha signed a contract with the devil and now she cannot get out of it. It does seem puzzling how in the U.S., supposedly the most advanced country in the world, people aka a judge will doubt a woman’s claims that she was raped! That too, after a range of women came out in support of her. Let’s hope that something else can be done about Kesha’s case and that she doesn’t have to work with Dr Luke or even see him again.
All these artists, who work in the music industry, have no trouble believe Kesha and yet a judge wants proof of Kesha’s claims? It is nice though that Kesha has received tons of support from her colleagues in the music industry, some of whome have worked with Dr Luke in the past. If these artists didn’t believe Kesha, would they have tweeted publicly in support when they know they can be blacklisted by Sony and Dr Luke?
