Now that Sushant Singh Rajput’s family has hired a lawyer, he is speaking on their behalf to the media answering every question that has been going around for a month since Sushant’s demise. One of these questions was the very much debated and talked about issue of Nepotism in Bollywood.
The family’s lawyer, Vikas Singh, gave an interview to Zoom TV and said this:

He alleges that Kangana has not spoken to any of the family members, so in way she herself does not know what has happened. Like we mentioned yesterday, that Ankita-statement seems fake since Kangana reportedly spoke to her and if there was anything like that, Kangana would be the first to tell the world that Rhea was harassing Sushant, as mentioned in that news article.
Sushant’s family lawyer also said that nepotism is not a crime and hence the police can’t really do anything about it as it’s not a cognizable offence.
That’s a different angle completely. If tomorrow the Mumbai police feel that any outsider or any person who comes from a small town to this industry needs protection and they feel like it this is a cognizable offence then they can go ahead and do that angle. In my legal mind, it really does not require the police to go into this matter. Maybe an actors association or producers Association can take up this matter but I don’t think that this case has anything to do with what Kangana has suggested or anybody else is talking about.
This may have affected Sushant in a small way but that can’t be the crime. Even if it was, you have to first decide what crime it would be under the IPC and if there is no cognizable offence then the police have no jurisdiction to do this so-called questioning. I think the Mumbai police has done a very shoddy job investigation by calling in people from the industry making them wait for hours and asking them questions on trivial issues this is going nowhere in Sushant’s suicide matter. – Vikas Singh to Zoom TV
Here’s the thing, the Mumbai Police might have gone the other way since there was so much noise online about nepotism and the mafia gang or as Kangana called them, the suicide gang. It probably added up to the pressure when she went on national television and called Aditya Chopra, Karan Johar and Rajeev Masand to be interrogated. So the Mumbai Police focused in that direction only and just imagine they called Aditya Chopra in to ask him about ‘Paani’ – a film that never took off from 2012.
We have been saying from the beginning that the nepotism angle doesn’t make sense. Sushant was a well-off actor, he was doing well in his career and to think that suddenly after all these years, he remembers about being disappointed in ‘Paani’ being cancelled or not being invited to a party and ended up doing what he did doesn’t really add up.
Now the Mumbai Police has been put in a bad light since Sushant’s family has alleged that they didn’t bother to investigate the people that the family wanted them to investigate. They so wanted to bury the big productions that they didn’t bother to focus on what the family wanted.
Defending themselves, the Mumbai Police alleged that they spoke to the family after Sushant’s demise and none of them had any complaint. Though they said Sushant’s sister Mitu Singh kept putting off their request to give her statement. So now to save face and to not go in the wrong direction again, they are suspending their investigation and allowing the Bihar Police to investigate the FIR filed by Sushant’s father in their state.
For some reason, we think the Mumbai Police wanted to see what Mr. India looks like since no one ever sees him, that’s why they put their interest in this case in that direction only. If you noticed, he is the only one whose picture was never taken before and after he went to the station! So he is really Mr. India!
Jokes aside, they interrogated Rhea for over 11 hours! How did they not suspect anything? Usually, the first person who is thoroughly looked into is the spouse or partner of the deceased in a case like this. So how did they miss this? Were they so focused on the nepotism angle that they didn’t think there was a personal angle to this as well? Or maybe because she left days before it happened?

There was news floating around yesterday that claimed Ankita spoke to the Bihar Police and said Sushant contacted her and spoke to her about Rhea harassing her, it doesn’t seem to be accurate as only now the police has spoken to Ankita. Ankita also went on television for the first time since Sushant’s demise and spoke about him.
How much ever I know him, he wasn’t a depressed guy. I have not seen a person like Sushant, a guy who used to write his own dreams, he had a diary… He had his 5-year plan — what he wants to do, how he will look, etc. And exactly after 5 years, he had fulfilled them. And when things like ‘depression’ are used after his name… it is heartbreaking. He might be upset, anxious, yes, but depression is a big word. Calling someone ‘bipolar’ is a big thing. The Sushant that I know — Main is cheez ko danke ki chot pe bol sakti hoon ki wo depressed nai tha. He came from a small town. He established himself on his own. He has taught me so many things, he taught me acting. Kisi ko pata bhi hai Sushant kaun aur kya tha? Everyone is writing their own portrayal of how ‘depressed’ he was, it hurts reading all of this.
He found happiness in small things. He wanted to do farming, I know this for sure… he told me agar kuch nai hua to main apni short film bana lunga. He was not a depressed guy, not at all. I don’t know what the situation was… but I will keep repeating this. I don’t want people to remember him as a depressed guy, he was a hero. FYI, suffering from a mental illness doesn’t make you less of a hero in the eyes of others!
It’s nice that she has so much to say about their time together. Anyone who knew them would say, it was the biggest mistake he made when he left her! She was his biggest fan and supporter. These days, that kind of respect and relationship cannot be found without hidden agendas in the industry…Or maybe in life as well!

Mitu Singh wanted to give her statement to the Mumbai Police but they weren’t willing to listen!
Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Mitu said her whole family was in shock, which was why she was unable to speak clearly the first time Mumbai Police contacted her. Then this happened:

Rhea allegedly practices black magic!
On her statement to the Bihar Police yesterday, Sushant’s sister Mitu Singh told the cops that Sushant’s house help told Rhea practices black magic.
Honestly-speaking, it’s not a shocking statement as many families tend to think the same way after seeing the boy or girl being controlled by their partner. We have lost count the number of times we have heard this from families trying to justify why their kids fell in love with that particular person.
But here, it can be true since the house help mentioned it and the fact that Rhea earlier said there was a ghost in that house they previously stayed in. If they believed in these other-worldly powers, then it is possible that they did do that. Besides many people believe in this in the industry and many of them have actually used black magic to bring someone else down or try to further their career.
Usually people tend to think of black magic when something they can’t explain happens. Like getting sick and there’s no cause to be found, then they assume someone put black magic. Something like that.
If Mitu told this to the Bihar Police then this angle too will be investigated. If that is the case, it will be quite interesting to see what they find.

According to me, the picture was a kind of 50-50 situation for Neetu Kapoor. She appears to be in 2 minds as of now. Son’s career benefit goes in alia’s favour. Alia’s family background and recent foolish statements go against alia. Neetu Kapoor does not seem to be clicking pictures anymore with Alia. As of now, it is wait and watch for kapoor family. If mahesh bhatt goes in jail, marriage will not happen. This appears to be very less have possibility considering clout, money power and influence.
I doubt Mahesh Bhatt will be going to jail. But yes, the Bhatt’s have lost the sheen…the one thing that was of paramount importance to Neetu. RK looks the same level of disinterested in Alia since day 1. I see only Alia looking for approval from the kapoor clan..with KKK maintaining a good distance from her..I think Kiara advani seems a better fit for Neetu..wealthy, fair and good looking..:D

Apparently a few days before Disha Salian’s death there was this huge party attended by Aditya Thackeray, Sooraj Pancholi, Sandip Singh and Showik Chakraborty (Rhea’s brother). Seems like they all got dead drunk including Disha and it got into something of a group orgy kinda thing. Only problem was that when Disha was normal she considered it as a gang rape and threatened to take those guys to police. She had spoken about this with SSR and although not presiat that party he knew what happened anc confronted Rhea about it as her brother was involved. She didn’t want to support Disha as that would mean putting her brother at stake and that’s when she broke up with Sushant as he wanted to take this up with the authorities. On 13 June, apparently SSR confronted these guys about Disha and there was an altercation in which SSR got hurt accidentally, so the group decided to change the crime scene and show it as suicide. The biggest problem was that Aditya Thackeray was involved and if the story got out and proved it could mean the total disaster of Shiv Sena, even though Aditya didn’t actually murder SSR. Still the other political parties would make sure the Shiv Sena gets finished.
I heard this too. Sounded preposterous. And the fact that Sooraj is involved in all of this again just shows how if u get away with crime once you only become more brazen!
No wonder we dont know what happened with Disha case. It was conveniently shut.. was she the only woman guest invited? Who invited her to a party attended by aditya thackrey? She isnt a known name or a force to reckom with., Neither is rheas brother

Apparently Aditya likes to hob nob with quite a few Bollywood actors. Last year he was seen hanging out with Disha Patani and he is friendly with most of Bollywood current breed. Sooraj, Aditya, Sushant, Sandip etc were friends since quite sometime now. This party was apparently held at Disha’s friend’s (not sure who). Now this friend was quite pally with all of these guys and thats how Disha Salian happened to be at the same party as Aditya. It was an exclusive party and not too many people werw there. There were other women (none too notable though) but it seems it turned out to be a drunk orgy. Seems that these guys took Disha’s drunkenness as consent. And if you have been to some of these parties you will know that groupies actually throw themselves at these kinda men. The intention was not to rape anyone. But apparently when Disha Salian came out of it, she alleged it was gang rape without her consent. Regarding the CCTV not working at SSR’s place on 13 June night, I have two theories:
(1) I think these guys erased the data in the CCTV or messed it up after SSR’s death, not before. Because seriously I don’t think they murdered him. Whatever happened must have been accidental because comeon its Aditya Thackeray and why would he risk his and his family’s political career to murder SSR, when SSR was not even present at the party where Disha Salian got raped??!! Aditya is a big shot and with all that power he could have easily got SSR killed by somebody else which actually being present at the crime scene. The fact that he was present when SSR died shows that SSR’s death was not premeditated or planned. It was a spur of the moment thing.
(2) So Aditya attends his birthday party at SSR’s place. He realizes that SSR is going to out all of them to the police and thats when he and the rest plan to get rid of SSR. They bribe SSR’s servant or someone random to murder SSR asap once they have left SSR’s place. Then they go and erase data from CCTV so that when SSR is found dead nobody will connect them to it. Once these guys have left, the person whom they bribed kills SSR making it look like suicide.
Honestly I am sure only two of these options must have happened because if you think practically everything else just doesn’t add up! Let me know your thoughts.

Further reports!! So I was partially correct as in a top shot politician’s son not a Bihari politician though. was present on 13 June to celebrate his birthday with SSR at SSR’s place : Aditya Thackeray! Gosh. This is actually big news if this true and explains everything from the CCTV not working at SSR’s apartment complex to Mumbai police plans to divert the case. Google Aditya Thackeray.
What could be the motive? Does it have any links with Disha’s death?

Something I heard from completely unauthorised sources and the second is my thought on this.
(1) SSR’s family has always had really good connections in Bihar politics. There is a Bihari politician holding a very important portfolio in the current government. His son and SSR were friends. On 13 June, there was get together of politician’s son and other friends at SSR’s place. They got drunk, had an argument, fought and SSR got hurt accidentally. The group took the entire night making the crime scene look like suicide. Precisely the reason why Mumbai police immediately termed a suicide within few minutes of investigating SSR’s death. Also the reason the Maharashtra government is so not ok with a CBI probe and are also not too keen on cooperating with Bihar police.
(2) This is something which just came to me. SSR was really in love with Rhea. He had issues, maybe he was suffering from depression. For whatever reasons when Rhea broke up with him he felt used and was so upset and mad at her that he wanted to hurt her the way she hurt him. He was anyways not feeling good and he planned his own death. He knew sooner or later Rhea would be questioned and since she was closest to him before his death her leaving him would be considered a trigger for his suicide. I know this sounds crazy but then SSR was an extremely intelligent man who got things done as he thought them out.
Honestly only option (1) or (2) adds up to the make entire picture. If you think about it could only be either of these two options. Nothing else really makes any sense!
Justice Lover- I agree that bullying faced by SSR is an important aspect. My problem with Kangana speaking about it right now is –
It looks like the Nepotism angle was being used by MP to hide the actual truth.
The way she frames her arguments on Nepotism doesn’t sit right with me. Example that virus tweet.
Her statements on topics other than Nepotism are very very problematic.
She herself is a bully.
There must be a reason why the family is focusing very narrowly on Rhea. Once she is arrested, provided she is guilty, from there you can get the ppl helping her. As it is, that is going to be a challenge. Kangana’s behaviour at this point of time doesn’t help SSRs case. She has made her point till now. Everyone gets it. I don’t think there is anything more she can add to this. Either she should align herself with Sushant’s family or stay out of it.
Kangana has been a sad joke for a while now.
Part 3
SSR’s Family Lawyer – Their lawyer is right in his capacity. He is only focussing on SSR’s death, not his problems while he was alive. So the lawyer’s fight is different to that of Kangana’s. One is focussing on the cause of his death while the other is focussing on his life and the opportunities that were snatched away from him (just like her).
Rhea – If Rhea is in anyway involved in his demise, embezzlement of funds or spreading lies about his mental health, she is not in this alone. Also, how come such a top lawyer is fighting her case?
Ankita – SSR’s true love. So wish he hadn’t left her. We need to cut her some slack, she probably just mixed the dates but what is more important is that she showed her chat messages with SSR to the concerned authorities and is standing by his family.
Now the case is seemingly hinting towards a political scion.
Part 2
Kangana – I don’t understand why people are blaming Kangana. Had it not been for her, this debate would have died a long time back. For example, if someone who has been ragged at a college sees another one falling victim to the same and raises their voice, how are they to be blamed. For that person (in this case KR) it refreshes old wounds and bring back bad memories. Some are accusing her of fighting her own battles in the guise of helping SSR. I say, what’s the harm? At least, she is standing up for a cause and is trying to bring a change unlike others who are busy pleasing their employers or trying to avoid the elephant in the room. This fight is not one person’s fight, a lot of people (outsiders) are going to benefit from it. And not only Kangana people like AR Rehman, Ranvir Shorey, Resul Pookutty and the likes have also fallen victim to it. In addition to the ones we know about, there must be a thousand others who are not talking or are too scared to talk. People pretend to get hung up on Kangana’s words to deflect from the main issue, one needs to understand her intention, the cause she’s fighting for and applaud her for her courage. What do you mean when you say she has lost the plot? According to me, she hasn’t. Women like her and PZ have more valour than the so called macho heroes of BW.
Nepotism – SSR’s career was sabotaged, we all know by who all. They may not have killed him with their own hands but they are a major reason for making his life difficult and for giving him a tremendous amount of stress. This kind of bullying and psychological lynching needs to stop. People who make your life extremely difficult while you are alive are equally to be blamed as the ones who claim it. India is one of the few countries where the victim is shamed rather than the perpetrator, be it rape, bullying, sexual harassment or nepotism. India needs some serious implementation of anti-bullying laws – whoever breaches the law, should be punished.
I was trying to write a long comment, but unfortunately wasn’t able to publish it. So here it is in three parts.
Part 1
SSR – His death is going to stay a mystery just like Jiah’s and Divya’s. Poor guy, feel so sorry for him and his family. A wonderful life cut short. We don’t know the truth and I don’t think we’ll ever be able to find out what actually happened. Mumbai Police/Media termed it as a suicide within minutes of finding his body. That was so irresponsible. How did they know what it was without investigation? It could be anything – murder, suicide or an abetted suicide. And the sad part is we still don’t know and maybe we’ll never know.
Some people are saying ‘where were his fans while he was alive’. His fans were very much here. And most of us have become his fans after finding out about his personality. The media never highlighted his knowledge, his intelligence, his curious mind, his passion for stars, etc. All we read about him when he was alive were derogatory blind items be it his uncouth behaviour with actresses, MeToo allegations, him taking off his clothes on a full moon night, the list goes on.
Disha – Under what circumstances did she die? What happened to her? Murder or suicide? Is anyone to be blamed or was she also ‘depressed’? Is her death linked to that of SSR’s?
Sushant had very little discussion with family members about his career. Hence, they might not be aware about all of his problems. Emphasis is now placed on his financial and personal life. Trainer has himself mentioned that his staff was changed and medicines were forcibly given to Sushant without counseling. Hence, they might be lying now to remain in Rhea’s good books.
Kangana needs to immediately communicate with Sushant’s family so that they together get justice for Sushant. Kangana should not let herself become a joke now.
As far as Rhea is concerned, she should now come out in public with evidence to explain her side of the story. Ours is sadly a male dominated society. Incidents like these would make matters worse for not financially well off females, who would be labelled as gold diggers.
Today Kangu had a new low. She indirectly called SSR a skirt chaser.Why is she doing it? Can’t she see she is losing plot here? What’s the agenda?
