L’Oreal announces Deepika Padukone as new brand ambassador

There have been many rumours surrounding this whole situation and now it seems L’Oreal is ready to announce their latest sign-in as brand ambassador. As we are posting this, there has not been any official announcement, but there is this picture below that L’Oreal has posted and everyone can see it’s Deepika Padukone. We always thought how strange it was that L’Oreal didn’t sign Deepika when she was at her peak year in Bollywood. That was the year that she delivered 4 big hits, including ‘Ram Leela’. Instead, L’Oreal choose to sign Katrina Kaif, which again was very strange because the changes in her face was quite apparent that made her quite a weird choice. Then, last year it was rumoured that Kat and L’Oreal parted ways because she didn’t want to cut down her fees. Kat’s stint is the shortest an Indian actress had as a L’Oreal ambassador. The company also took from October last year to February this year to finally decide to sign Deepika. And now in three days, she will be unveiled officially. It will be fun to see Sonam Kapoor and Deepika at the Canne Film Festival. Sonam must be fuming already! Anyways, check out if you recognise Deepika right here below.

    1. Whether she lightened it or not you can’t disagree that Deepika’s skin tone is more South Asian than Katrina’s. Both from a branding perspective and from a better representation perspective this is a good choice. Make her look good in your ads L’Orรฉal and watch your sales zoom.

    2. @Richs Deepika’s skin tone hasn’t changed. The interviews where lighting is not so good clearly shows her natural skin color. Kat, on the other hand, has done so much to her face that it’s scary and uncomfy watching her. I don’t think it’s a good idea of Deepika to be part of L’Oreal. It’s a brand that has an old feeling to it and not in a good way ๐Ÿ˜› I guess she desperately wants to be at Cannes so her motives are probably more to do with gaining exposure at International events.

    3. Shut up u deepika PR,how dare u comment on Kat looks.U first look at deepu skin tone changing from dark to light..insecure dippy PR.

      1. Hahaha. I am sure you’re a kat fan. But Kat is British while deepika is an indian. Plus in her photos she always look dark enough. She clearly didn’t go under the knife like kat here. But who are we to judge them. Let’s talk about how jealous sonam will be when no one will be all over her weird choice of clothing.
