Mimoh Chakraborty on his father Mithun Chakraborty directing plans

We know we have barely spoken about the Chakrabortys here on OSOP. But the other day, a film of Mimoh Chakraborty was airing on TV and we couldn’t help to sit and watch to see how well his acting is. Of course, now Mimoh goes by the name Mahaakshay Chakraborty, which we can’t decide whether this name makes Mimoh a better choice. We heard that Mimoh worked hard to make his comeback in the film that we were watching him and unfortunately, the film flopped at the box office. Mimoh gave out an interview earlier this week in which he said that his dad is looking forward to direct him in a film and he also mentioned that he’s currently working on a film that will feature a lot of different fighting styles. We also have to mention here how Mimoh is really lucky that because his dad works in television, this allows him to really focus on taking his time doing the right scripts. We wonder whether his other siblings have plans on being in the movie business. Here’s what Mimoh has to say about his dad’s plans.

Mimoh Chakraborty on his dad Mithun Chakraborty’s plans to direct
Dad is not paying much attention to direction right now. He is busy with his TV shows and with his own films. But he has told me that when the time comes, he’ll definitely direct.

Mimoh on whether his dad will direct him in a film
I think now it’s too early (to talk about it) because I still have to strengthen the foundation of Mimoh or Mahaakshay. So when the right time comes, definitely with all your good wishes, dad will direct me.

    Mimoh on his new project
I’m working on a new project, it’s a very interesting project. My character has numerous shades and it’s got a lot of martial arts. I recently returned from Phuket where I did a mixed martial arts course for two months. Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Taekwondo, wrestling, Muay Thai are all part of it and there are lot of stunts. We’re trying to create an execution for the film where you don’t see any cuts, it’s all one take shots.
