Shatrugan Sinha

Shatrugan Sinha dated Reena Roy for three years, while also engaged to his current wife. They split after he got married but resumed their affair shortly after for another two years. Reena eventually ended it when she realised Shatrugan would never marry her because of what his wife says was her ‘questionable history’. Reena had danced at cabaret bars before making it in Bollywood to fend for her family.

 

Rishi Kapoor

Rishi and Dimple had just started dating when Rajesh Khanna came into the picture. They split and Rishi started seeing Neetu Singh soon after.

 

Kumar Gaurav

Kumar Gaurav, Rajendra Kumar’s son was engaged to Raj Kapoor’s daughter but the two called off the engagement. Relations between the Kumars and Kapoors became strained. Kumar Gaurav then fell in love with his ‘Love Story’ co-star Vijeta Pandit but his father Rajendra refused to sanction the marriage. Vijeta went on to marry music director Aadesh Shrivastava. Kumar Guarav married Sunil and Nargi’s daughter, Namrata Dutt.

 

Tina Munim

Tina Munim left Sunjay Dutt because of his drug habit and started seeing Rajesh Khanna. They lived together for a year before she dumped him and left for America. When she came back, she married Anil Ambani.

 

Vinod Khanna

Vinod Khanna and Amrita Singh dated for quite awhile.

 

Yogeeta Bali

Yogeeta Bali left Kishore Kumar for Mithun Chakraborty.

 

Mithun Chakraborty

Mithun and Sridevi were seriously involved and even allegedly got married. Yogeeta Bali attempted suicide and Sridevi realised Mithun was not in fact divorced as he claimed. She had the marriage annulled and dumped him. Mithun went back to Yogeeta.

 

Bobby Deol

Bobby Deol and Neelam dated for five years, then he ditched her for Pooja Bhatt. They split after two years.

 

Pooja Bhatt

Pooja Bhatt once claimed she and Aamir were involved and gave interviews to that effect. She later retracted and claimed she’d been misquoted and misunderstood.

 

Govinda

Govinda and his Kirti were once at loggerheads over Juhi Chawla. Govinda later dated Neelam and claimed he wanted to marry her. He also confessed in an interview he was very attracted to Sonali Bendre.

 

Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar left his non-famous girlfriend for Pooja Batra in the very early nineties. He then dumped Pooja Batra and dated Raveena for four years. After they split, he took up with Shilpa Shetty but cheated on her with Twinkle Khanna.

 

Sanjay Kapoor

Sanjay Kapoor dated Tabu while filming their debut film. He cheated on her with Raveena, who was Tabu’s very good friend. It didn’t last but to this day, Tabu and Raveena don’t see eye to eye.

 

Ajay Devgan

Ajay dated Raveena briefly, but ditched her and later bad mouthed her interviews. He took up with Karisma but her mom Babita hated him. When they split, he started dating Kajol. The story goes that Karisma once followed Ajay to a hotel and found him with Kajol. She was devastated.

 

Sushmita Sen

Sushmita Sen has dated Sunjay Dutt, Sanjay Kapoor, Vikram Bhatt and Randeep Hoonda. All but Randeep were married men.

Akshaye Khanna allegedly dated Aishwarya Rai briefly, before she started seeing Salman Khan. The Kapoors and Khannas also toyed with the idea of arranging a marriage between Karisma and Akshaye but talks didn’t go too far and the idea was quickly abandoned.
