We have another awards show coming up soon and the nominations have just rolled out. Unfortunately, in India no award show is worthy of being like any Hollywood award. In Hollywood, they announce the nominations LIVE on TV for the Oscars, Golden Globes and Emmy Awards. Also, these award shows are shown LIVE on TV at the same time that it is being aired. Sadly in India, they no longer air awards LIVE; a practice that has stopped since TRP ratings came on. Now, editors need about two weeks to properly edit an award show before airing it on TV. The result? You get the same reaction, laugh and smiles from the audience. How much longer can they fool us?
