Practising for a real-life Piku situation

Now this won’t work if you haven’t seen ‘Piku’, but if you have we hope you get it.

Practising for a real-life Piku situation

Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar were spotted on the sets of Filmfare Awards. This was right after Akshay Kumar was ‘kind’ enough to let Ranveer’s film, ‘Padmavati’ have a solo release because, let’s face it, most people would have watched ‘Padman’ instead of the biggest release that is the most awaited release for a year right after ‘Baahubali 2’. By the way, the pose above reminds us of a game little girls play, but it’s done in standing position.

    1. (Really irrelevant, sorry again!) but admin, what’s the deal with Iulia and Salman? Are they still a thing or have they broken up? I don’t see much about them in the news. Or does he not care anymore since Kat’s Back?

    2. Love the sarcasm admin. Is the game ring ah ring ah roses, pocket full of poses, ashes ashes we all fall down? By the way, Akshay new do makes me want to throw up. Please don’t post anymore pics of him in this new avatar. Pretty please.

    3. Akshay is such a pretentious prick…. called a press conference to ‘BRAG’ about how he did not want to snatch the spotlight from SLB’s film… hehehehehee… don’t know why but I think this prick is just looking to get closer to the ruling party…..maybe lobbying for another National Award??

      1. maybe any other rewards will finally fall into the hands of Akshay? if his deserved national award so to live in the way of people ! I’m eg indignant that Amitabh receives national award every year just because he is Amitabh. And yes, Baby airlift Special 26 long ago earned the Filmfare, but did not receive even a nomination. what ruling party prevents it?

        1. of course Amitabh did not deserve the Nationals for Paa or Piku… even he is of the same mould…. his illegal modifications to his house were regularised recently, only because he says ‘Gujarat Shining’……. but he is a very good actor… Can’t say the same about Akshay…..Movies from the entire country are competing for the Nationals, and to say Akshay’s acting in crappy RUSTOM was worth a win?? what did manoj Bajpai do in Aligarh?? or Randeep in ‘Sarbjit’..forget the Malyalam, BEngali, Marathi cinema……I am sure you are aware the Akshay does not even take efforts to memorise his dialogues…….. It is ok to be somebody’s fan, but not right to be a blind fan… the deserving should be always rewarded….and I spoke about Akshay here, because this post is about him…..I usually don’t drag others in someone else’s post, ut did now just to clarify….

      2. Akshay is playing it smart. He knows that he runs a risk of premiering on the same day if those Karni Sena thugs crash, loot and burn film theaters. People are already afraid as it is to watch Padmavati on the first day, first show because they don’t want to be caught in violence. In fact, this arrangement suits Akshay more than SLB. 1. He gets a violence-free release and 2. He gets an open release, only coming out with Aiyaary which is going to be blown away. Two birds, one stone, and he gets a boost in his PR image to boot. Ding! Ding! Ding!

No matter how much he tries to publicize Padman as a rustic, feel-good social drama, it is nowhere as controversial and awaited as Padmavat(i) which is stirring up all kinds of emotions. People are curious about it. I’ll take the histronics of Padmavati’s cast over Akshay’s broken angrezi anytime.

        1. He runs the risk of his movie being blown away 🙂 I dont think he is scared about the Thugs etc. That is a poor excuse.
