Priyanka Chopra was hoping to win the Best Actress award this year for ‘Mary Kom’, but unfortunately Kangana Ranaut beat her to it. Or at least, the National Awards Commitee felt that Kangana Ranaut was more deserving to win the Best Actress awards instead of Priyanka. Priyanka straightaway called Kangana to congratulate her on the win as soon as she heard the news. Priyanka also went on Twitter to congratulate Kangana.
Priyanka already won a National Award for ‘Fashion’, so it should be alright that she didn’t win this year. But overall, it was nice of Priyanka to call Kangana to congratulate her, especially because this last week has been about Kangana stating how all the awards Priyanka won are hers because she didn’t attend the award, the organisers gave it to Priyanka.
