The thing with magazine releases is that the celebrities don’t know for sure when the magazine will be out. Like take this Filmfare magazine with Priyanka Chopra on the cover, it was meant to be a celebration of PC’s big Hollywood movie.
It would have worked if the movie worked at the box office, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. ‘Baywatch’ bombed badly at the box office and its lead star, The Rock, made things worst by going after those that didn’t like the film on Twitter.
It didnt’ help that in India too, the film fared not so good. See, PC already burned her bridges or she could have had SRK stretching his arms to promote her Hollywood debut. PC too probably didn’t foresee the poor outcome of the film, which explains the byline of her magazine cover.
At least, she still has her TV show to rely on and there have been rumours that PC has signed another film, but it seems that she wants more and is doing all the networking she can to get it. You know when you network you have to really stretch your arms to reach the good deals. See what we did there?
What a stupid article. 1. Priyanka got good reviewer comments even tho the film tanked. 2. Snowballs will freeze in hell before SRK compliments her or supposts her efforts. 3. The byline as of June 6 is 100 percent accurate. She is burning up Internet with Gap ad campaign; she slays on red carpets; she is about to ink two HW movies. PC is superstar, whether you want to stay in denial or not.
She is a superstar, she lasted this long but this magazine cover was meant for the success of the movie. Her role is so small in it and people hated the crass humour in the film.
Yes Pc has made a name for herself I in Hollywood but she does not have critical respect. Slaying a red carpet is not an acting achievement. Her career is more or less over in Bollywood and unless she signs an a-grade Hollywood movie she has limited chance there too.
