We can’t tell whether this is emotional blackmail by Rajesh Roshan, but for him to suddenly come out and say something like this does seem strange. Maybe his anger against Shah Rukh Khan subsided or something because we find this all really strange.

First, he said he was mad at Shah Rukh for still releasing his film on the same day that ‘Kaabil’ releases. Now he’s saying that he loves Shah Rukh and his entire family and so on. By the way, before Hrithik Roshan made his debut, Rakesh used to like working with Shah Rukh. They did 3 films together, which are ‘King Uncle’, ‘Koyla’ and ‘Karan Arjun’.

Rakesh on being fond of Shah Rukh and his family

I am very fond of Shah Rukh and his wife Gauri. I am really close to his entire family. I remember shooting for Krazzy 4 (2008), in which Hrithik was supposed to do a special number. But he had to back out at the last moment due to a knee injury. When I discussed the problem with Shah Rukh, he immediately agreed to do the song.
